Bezerk RC B6.1 series carbon fibre shock towers

Coming from Bezerk RC are new carbon fibre front and rear shock towers for the Team Associated B6.1 series of buggies. First up are the option rear towers for the B6.1 and B6.1D. With the laidback gearbox gaining popularity on track surfaces more in line with a standup gearbox, the trend among many B6.1 drivers is to shave the front of the rear arms and move them forward by up to 4mm. This modification creates a lot of sweep angle on the camber links which in turn can restrict the arm’s ability to wind up on power taking away grip. By relocating your camber link further forward to the tower this adds more forward traction. The B6.1 tower is a lower height variant of the B6.1D tower that is overall taller.

AKA Scribble 1/10th buggy tyres

AKA have introduced their new Scribble 1/10th buggy tyre, the first of a range of new tyres coming for the 2020 season. The Scribble series of tyres is a clean sheet redesign and will set the foundation of AKA’s 1/10 buggy tyre line up going forward. The design objectives were two fold; The first design objective of the Scribble was to extend the performance window. To accomplish this the designers concentrated heavily on getting the tyre to wear even across the entire carcass no matter the tread depth. The Scribble carcass and tread were designed together to compliment the properties of AKA’s clay compound resulting in even wear across the tyre. The equal wear across the entire tread pattern creates a tyre that will hold its max performance for run after run without hyper sensitivity to tread height. The second design objective was to have a competitive tyre right out of the bag with little to no prep. The unique, flowing tread design has been developed specifically around the properties of AKA’s clay rubber compound. The height, width and density of the tread has been thoughtfully engineered to provide race ready lap times out of the bag with little or no prep. The tyre will hit stores in December as 2WD front, 4WD front and general rear tyre in Clay compound and including red closed cell inserts.

Pro-Line Street Fighter HP 3.8″ belted tyres

Pro-Line have introduced their new Street Fighter HP 3.8″ belted tyres that come pre-mounted on black Raid 8×32 removable hex 17mm wheels. The tyres feature a high-performance herringbone weave pattern belt inside of the tyres that will prevent the tyre from ballooning or expanding during use. This will give maximum control to put the power down even at high speeds. The tyres are made using the soft M2 compound and utilise aggressive tread grooves for grip and durability. The tyres come as pairs and are pre-mounted on Pro-Line’s Raid 8×32 removable Hex 17mm wheels, making the ideal for all monster trucks that use 3.8″ wheels and tyres.
