The Hot Bodies TCX gets the Smokem treatment with the TCX-FX chassis. Firstly they have reduced the width of the chassis by almost 10mm and with an overall width of only 94mm, scrubbing during hard cornering is minimized. The 2.2mm thick chassis has been designed to provide additional flex to deliver more grip and a wider tuning window so you can dial-in your car in over a wide range of temperature and track conditions. The Opening round of Indonesian EP National Championship was held in Sunter International Speedway last weekend, with perfect weather all day. The class ran were 11.5T Stock Class and Front Wheel Drive Class. In the Stock class, it was Teddy Syach who took the TQ spot with his Hot Bodies Cyclone TCX followed by Xray drivers, Rudy Budihardjo, Bowie Ginting, Asdi Nurmediana and TOP Racing driver Chandra Yosef completing the top 5. …After the 3rd qualifier, Ty’s TQ from the 2nd round still stood. In the 4th and final qualifier Ty’s dogbone twisted off, opening the door for Associated’s Peter Toszer to take the TQ from Ty by 1 second. This set the stage for what would be an exciting main. Peter Toszer, Ty and Wayne Mah pulled away from the field, but Ty was able to come away with the win putting the HotBodies TCX with PROTOform’s MazdaSpeed 6 body in the top podium position, Wayne would take 2nd with Peter finishing 3rd after an unfortunate marshaling incident. This weekend saw some of Australia’s top drivers descended on one of the county’s premier electric tracks to battle out the 2010 NSW State Titles. Reviews of the newly upgraded facility were glowing and the racing was fierce across all classes. The modified class drew a number of world class drivers including multiple national champion Simon Nicholson, current national champ Ari Bakla, and Victorian state champion Ryan Maker. Every 4 years, the Shanghai Municipal Government holds a citywide race with drivers around Shanghai competing to win medals for districts they represent. At this year’s race, held at the Shanghai International RC Speedway this past weekend, it was Mugen driver JJ Wang winning the gold medal with his Murnan powered MTX4 representing the Changning district. The King Power Cup EP & GP touring car race was held at the RCP track in Southern China over the October Chinese National Holidays. King Power, makers of electric motors and batteries as well as other racing parts was the main sponsor for the race and racers from around China participated in the two day event with race organizer Energy-DL in Guangzhou managing the event superbly.
