Trinity introduce new modified class rotors

Trinity have introduced two new modified class rotors for their XFactor, Monster, 24K, D4 and Killshot range motors. Available as silver-marked 12.3×25.5 RPM and pink-marked 12.5×25.5 torque variant, both Neo rare earth rotors come nickel-plated and marked for easy identification. The rotors are recommended for off-road and oval racing with the pink torque rotor being the preferred pick of Trinity’s Dakotah Phend’s to fine-tune the Monster 7.0T motor of his 2WD Buggy ride.

Cole Ogden TQs & wins at Southern Offroad Series Rd3

Round 3 of the Southern Offroad Series was held at S&B RC Speedway in Piedmont, South Carolina, attracting more than 160 entries. In the Pro Nitro Buggy class it was HB racing’s Cole Ogden with the overall TQ and he also came out on top after the 20-minute A-main event, leaving behind Kyosho’s Matt Merhring in 2nd, some three laps down. HB Racing’s Cameron Saxon would finish the main on the 3 spot with Nick Hartman and Dave Carmendy completing the top 5.

T-Works MP10 alloy rear chassis brace

T-Works have introduced a new rear aluminium chassis brace for the Inferno MP10 buggy. Machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised and with machined silver edge details the brace utilises delrin bushings for the rear bulkhead attachment point that ensures less stress for both the bulkhead and brace, prolonging the life of all parts involved. Included in the set is also gold-coloured mounting hardware.

Xray Serock & Polish Astro Nationals Rd2 – Report

The second round of the Xray Serock race and Polish Astro Nationals took place at the RC Track facility. The weather was pretty hot all weekend with the rain staying away until the end of the finals. The 2WD Buggy qualifiers were dominated by Bartek Kramza followed by Sebastian Migal and Iwo Czarnecki. The opening A-main was won by Bartek while the second A-main at first saw Sebastian in the lead, however he suffered a DNF later, allowing Bartek to take the win and with it the overall victory.

VSR Products Tekno 1/10th wing shims

Coming from VSR Products and made for Tekno RC’s 1/10th scale buggies and trucks are two different height wing raiser shims. Available in 5mm and 7mm thickness the shims will improve rear end grip while also allowing for more consistent cornering. The 3-D-printed wing raisers are available separately and they include longer countersunk mounting hardware.

Bezerk MBX8 carbon fibre shock towers

Available now from Bezerk are carbon fibre front and rear shock towers for the Mugen MBX8 1/8th scale buggies. The range includes a 5.0mm graphite front shock tower as well as standard and high wing rear variants – the latter offering additional mounting positions for the rear wing with the high wing position improving overall downforce and balance. The rear shock towers are available in 4.0mm and 5.0mm thick variants and all three match the standard kit suspension geometry.

Matthew Gonzales doubles at Pro-Line Carpet Classic

Ricochet R/C Raceway of Imperial, California held the 4th annual Pro-Line Carpet Classic race this past weekend, attracting over 90 entries for the 1/10th Modified and Stock racing categories. In the 13.5T Wheeler class it was Matthew Gonzales with the overall TQ and he also came out on top in the opening two A-mains to grab the overall win with one leg to spare, leaving behind A3 winner, Ryan Reagle in 2nd and runner-up after the qualifiers, Mike Katz in 3rd. Over in 17.5T 2WD Buggy it was again Matthew with the overall TQ and an early win as Mikey Bustamante and Emma Ramirez came in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Matisse Peyre sweeps French National League Cup

The Club Modelisme A2Tech club in St. Clement, France played host to the French National League Cup last weekend. The race attracted nearly 90 entries for the single 1/8th Nitro Buggy class and it was young Matisse Peyre who dominated the event by taking the overall TQ and also coming out on top in the 45-minute A-main event, leaving behind Quentin Lecuelle in 2nd with a one-lap margin. Leo Goyer would end the A-main in 3rd, already three laps down on Matisse as Marc Aubert and Fabien Coulon completed the top 5 results.
