Officina RC have presented two screw kits dedicated to the Awesomatix A800 using their tungsten/copper screws. Made in Italy, the screw kits are named rich and millionaire, the former made up of 21 screws, 13 M3x5mm screws replace the original ones for fixing the bulkheads and the motor mount, while the 8 M3x6mm are used for fixing the arms. The millionaire kit is composed by 18 M3x5mm screws, 8 M3x6mm and 7 M3x8mm ones, the additional screws for the servo mount and the bellcrank, as well as for the bar mount and bumper. Building upon their very popular GeoCarbon V2 Arms for the Awesomatix A800 MMX, RC Maker are excited to present their V3 arms. Featuring front steering arm options for both single and double bellcrank steering, as well as rear steering arms, they feature duplicated geometry of standard arms and provide more flex on the toe axis, which in testing yielded more traction. Rebellion RC now offer two more top deck options for the Awesomatix MMX, a single and two-piece version. Both are very similar in design, wrapping around the spur gear, with the single piece best suited for high to very high traction, while the two piece top deck helps improve front end in-corner steering depending on which screws you use. The 5th Annual Cencal Challenge was held in Fresno, California this past weekend and with 135 entries it was the biggest race for outdoor racing of 2020. The racing format set to Rocket Round and Triple Mains for each class. In the 17.5 TC division, Jaron Bandy took the top qualifying spot ahead of Xray driver Lex Tyler in 2nd with EJ Evans (Awesomatix) ending up qualifying in P3. These newly introduced aluminium eccentric inserts for Awesomatix by LCG Racing are designed and developed to reduce play in both the longitudinal and the horizontal direction. The precisely made bearing holders allow to easily fit the diff and spool as well as prevent any binding of the car‘s flex characteristics.
