Having previously shown you prototype photos of Awesomatix’ radical new A12 1/12th scale chassis, today the Russian company have released final details & photos of their soon to be available car. The first thing you notice about the A12 is simply how low it sits. A low centre of gravity is a critical element in racing performance for any class, and this is further exemplified by the A12 pan car on an entirely new level. Much like the Awesomatix A800MMX touring car, the A12 far surpasses all existing 12th scales by providing a much lower centre of gravity. The Awesomatix…

Similar to the body distance system released yesterday by RebellionRC yesterday, this new version is specific to the Awesomatix MMX. Incorporated into new steering arms, its adjustable design makes it possible to fine-tune the mounting height of the body. Because the body no longer moves up and down with the chassis you can position the body lower than ever before, which in turn improves aerodynamics. For a perfect fit on the knuckle they have used special tools to provide the highest precision, playfree and still easy to disassemble without tons of force. RC Maker have introduced their new ultimate fan shroud and fan mount in one. Available in 3 versions for the Awesomatix A800MMX, Xray T4’20 or Yokomo BD10, it mounts directly to the motor-mount using the supplied super light aluminium mounting screws, with no fan mount or tape required. The new shroud increases the volume of air flow over the motor, reducing motor temperatures and how it is mounted, floating off the chassis, there is no interference with the chassis’ flex. …what was a very reduced field. The finals saw the Awesomatix driver come back from a difficult first main to take the title ahead of A1 winner Patrick Gollner (Xray) in 2nd and Sascha Klug (Awesomatix) in 3rd. FWD would see Florian Luyer win from pole, wrapping up the National title early again for Awesomatix, with Johannes Neumaier (Mugen) coming home in 2nd thanks to his win in A3, while René Kronsteiner (Awesomatix) would lose out on the tie break and have to settle for 3rd. The Formula class was dominated by Rene Kobel who took his Xray to the…
