The part are machined from high-quality carbon fibre and work in combination with the MMCX mid motor conversion and the VTD set for the standard A800X. …nearly 50 entries, it was Awesomatix’s own Stock class specialist, Max Mächler with the overall TQ from Yokomo driver Rob Janssen. In the finals Max made a clean sweep, taking wins in all three A-main legs for the overall from John Bruins on the 2 spot. Rob Janssen had to settle for 3rd overall. Over in the 17.5T Touring Fun class it was Marwin Riedelbauch with the overall TQ, however after the triple A-mains Tobias Baumann would hold the upper hand from Daniel Pöhlmann in 2nd. RC Maker have introduced their new damper O-ring tool for Awesomatix touring cars. It is a simple, yet effective tool that aids in seating the O-ring into the damper, without pressurising the damper. It allows all excess oil to flow around the tool and out of the damper, which is crucial to the smooth assembly with the P45R round damper rubbers. Not only does it seat the O-ring and allows the excess oil to flow, it also acts as a scoop to get the excess oil out of the area, which is unwanted there when pressing the bearing in. When…
Coming from RC Maker are three new carbon fibre optionals for the Awesomatix A800X touring car. First up are some crazy looking bulkhead flex dampeners. The parts allow for two in-between settings, complementing the optional no-brace and straight link settings. Made from super thin 3K carbon, they attach to the bulkheads directly and provide consistent dampening (restriction) of the flex at the front of the front bulkheads in every direction. Awesomatix have released a new teaser image of their forthcoming new A800FX FWD touring car. The front wheel driven kit is based on the successful A800X Evo platform and optimised in terms of weight distribution, lowest center of gravity and lowest moment of inertia.
