Lunsford 3mm titanium custom pan head screw

Lunsford Racing have announced the release of a new-style screw head for their 3mm fasteners. With an ultra sleek head design combined with an over-sized diameter head, the Custom Lunsford pan head titanium screw is the ideal screw for servo or motor installation. The 7.8mm head size eliminates the need for a washer while the low profile head design at just 1.2mm brings in added elegance and purpose. To minimise tool needs for 1:10 vehicles, the pan head has a 2mm broach. The fastener is available in 8mm, 10mm and 15mm length.

Yokomo BD9 6-hole shock pistons

Yokomo have introduced new 6-hole shock pistons for the BD9 touring car. Using the same hole diameter as the standard 4-hole variants, the 6-hole parts offer improved absorption against fine vibrations while keeping good overall response for enhanced traction. Also the outer diameter is also slightly enlarged for less blow-by during fast compression and thus improved balance in fast corners. To achieve the same mount of damping, upping shock viscosity by 50 to 100cst is advised.

Avid Aura Revolution ball bearings

Avid have introduced their new Aura Revolution line of oiled, tight tolerances steel ball bearings. Categorised as a budget-minded performance bearing and because it is oiled and has slightly higher tolerances than Avis’s greased Halo line, the bearing will perform almost as well as the compnany’s high-end Aura Ceramics but at more than half the cost. It is designed for the highly competitive racer that wants to have an edge but does so much racing that spending the money on the Aura Ceramic’s isn’t always practical. The bearing comes in Avid’s Revolution seal, which is a rubber seal on one side and metal on the other and they are made with Chromium Steel races because the surface finish is smoother than other materials such as Stainless Steel. This results in less noise and better performance. The bearings are now available in Avid’s famous FlexKit software, allowing to build customised packs for nearly every application.
