JConcepts 1993 Ford F-150 Rustler VXL body

In honour of the golden age of stadium truck racing, JConcepts unveils this 1993 Ford F-150 stadium truck body for the Traxxas Rustler. The Rustler hopeful has never quite seen a body like this for their vehicle and JConcepts has taken on a passion project to deliver a body to a community thirsty for a fresh lid. The JConcepts body is narrow and sits close against the chassis to give racers the Team Truck look popular in the 90’s. The styling is completely modelled after the most popular full-size truck of that era, the 1993 Ford F-150. The entire body shape has been chiseled, incorporating styling cues from the 1:1 truck including wheel well shapes, door lines, window outlines and rear tailgate. The front-end sits just behind the front bumper while the headlight and grille area looks strikingly stock and with included decal sheet, looks like its street truck counterpart. The JConcepts body is moulded in a durable gauge material and includes rear spoiler, mounting hardware and decal sheet to completely outfit the vehicle.

Tessmann & Rivkin win at 2018 Surf City Classic

The world famous OCRC in Huntington Beach, CA was the location for the Proline Surf City Classic this past weekend and with Xray driver Ty Tessmann in attendance, he sent us this report. ‘Once again they outdid themselves with another awesome, challenging layout and a smoothly run race. The track is very well prepped and maintained and the whole facility is top notch. It is a well known fact that after a new layout is put in, the track starts out low bite but will continue to increase in grip throughout the weekend, so to be fast your car setup has to be changing constantly to keep up with the changing condition. Tire prep is also a big factor at this race, to adjust for the changing grip level. All this combined, makes for a very challenging and competitive race. As usual all the top drivers from the US were at this race and with one of Europe’s shining stars added into the mix made for a very competitive field.
