Schumacher Eclipse 2 LMP12 1/12th scale pan car

Coming from Schumacher is the new Eclipse 2 LMP12 kit for 1/12th scale pan car classes. After the successful reintroduction into LMP12 Racing with the Eclipse after a 35-year break, Schumacher offer the latest incarnation, the Eclipse 2. The car has been refined over two seasons of hard racing to provide drivers with a faster, more durable, easier to work on platform. The vehicle uses full carbon fibre chassis components, with high quality engineering polymer mouldings throughout, all refined for the upcoming carpet season.

Trinity X-Factor spec class brushless motor

Trinity have introduced their all-new X-Factor spec class brushless motor. Of a new design the motor weighs in at only 144g to 148g on average which was achieved by using only six short screws to mount the timing ring and locking end plate systems. X-Flow cooling openings further reduce the overall weight while adding a lot of airflow through the motor. Other features include a new composite sensor board, a 2-piece CNC-machined aluminium can, and 2mm ultra-low resistance solder tabs. A new stator design provides more efficient power and virtually no fade during a run. Available variants upon release will be a 10.5T, built with a TEP1119 12.5×25.5mm high torque rotor while the 25.5T motor uses a TEP1117 12.3×25.5mm rotor. In-between variants for other stock classes will become available at a later date.

Urbain wins French EP TC finale as Duchet takes title

The final round of the French Electric On-road Championship was held at the Angoulême track last weekend. In the Touring Modified class it was Lucas Urbain who took the day’s win while Alexander Duchet had to settle for 2nd overall with P2 and P1 scores in the A-mains. The runner-up spot however was enough to win Duchet the overall Touring Modified championship title. Behind the two, Hugo Ragaut would end the day on the 3 spot, rounding out the podium.

Xray Racing Series Slovakia – Announcement

Xray have announced the 2018/19 Xray Series Slovakia that will start with round 1 held at the Hudy Racing Arena in Trenchin on the 13th of October. The following five rounds will also be held at the iconic place with the finale being scheduled for the 16th of March 2019. Classes run include Touring Modified, Touring 13.5T Stock, Formula, 1/10th Pan Car, 1/12th Pan car and 1/12th GT as well as 1/10th 2WD Buggy, 4WD Buggy and Truck. Yeah Racing TT-02 RWD drift performance conversion

Coming from Yeah Racing and made for the Tamiya TT-02 entry-level touring car is a drift performance conversion. Designed to achieve a large steering angle, that is required for RWD drifting, the kit’s steering rack has been redesigned around the original chassis so it will be a drop in installation whilst achieving large steering angle with the upgrade steering rack. Combined with the highly adjustable suspension and steering geometry, owners will be able to tune the performance and behaviour to their liking. Adjustable rear universals have been included so that drovers can also adjust track width. Updated DSG dampers with longer ball cups allow for more droop and the possibility to tune the throw of the chassis when going into the corner. The suspension and steering parts are machined from high-quality aluminium and they come blue anodised and laser-engraved for looks.

Blitz S100 190mm touring car body shell

Team Titan have introduced the new Blitz S100 190mm touring car body shell. The lid is of an up-to-date design for the highly competitive 1/10 electric touring class. Compare to all previous Blitz body shells, the S100 will provide more down force, which will work well in low to medium traction conditions. Pre-marked lines in both the front and rear wheel arches allows to easily and precisely mount the body in the preferred position. The rear wing comes with two different cut lines to adjust the rear down force and 20mm x 40mm side wing plates are also included. The S100 body shell is made from high quality clear polycarbonate and it comes including window masks, decal sheet and wing mount kit in standard 0.8mm, light weight 0.7mm and ultra light weight 0.5mm variants.

Heshiki & Rossi win at Brazilian Championship

The Brazilian Electric On-road Championship was held at the APPA track in Sao Paolo recently. In the Touring 13.5T Stock class it was Erich Heshiki who took the overall title coming from the 3 spot on the grid. Flavio Elias snatched the runner-up spot from Dennis Pickthall in 3rd. In the 1/8th Electric GT class, and despite it being run for the first time, a lot of entries were counted. Eduardo Rossi would come out on top from Andre Pantalone in 2nd and Eduardo Pin in 3rd.
