Jared Phair takes double INES points series titles

The final round of the INES points series was hosted by 46RC recently. With watering mid-round the grip was more consistent but the tight, red clay track required running extra soft slicks with aggressive tyre sauce. In the 2WD and 4WD classes Jared Phair finished 2nd to take the overall titles from Stephen Maizer (PR Racing) 2nd and Bryan Kata (Team Associated) on the 3 spot with the two also rounding out the championship top 3 results.

6mik Axium 4WD 1/10th buggy front tyre

6mik have introduced their new Axium 4WD 1/10th buggy front tyre for artificial surfaces such as carpet and astroturf. The tyre uses the company’s Optimized Control Concept design with softer inner and harder outer carcass for improved steering precision in both low and high bite track conditions, depending on the mounting direction of the tyre. The tread makes use of rounded outer pins for great balance between steering aggressiveness and bite while the inner blocks ensure good traction. The tyre will become available in green soft and blue medium compound.
