The Thornhill Championship weekend brought almost 100 entries from all over Texas and with almost 30 trucks, E-Truggy drew the most attention. After the double A-mains it was TLR’s Brad Ripple with the win from the Xray duo of Ron Simpson 2nd and Daniel Grobe 3rd.

Round 1 of the Metropolitan Championship was held at the new Speed Paradise track in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The event was attended by 55 drivers in the five different categories of Buggy Open, Master and Pro, Truggy and Brushless. In the Pro Buggy class the TQ and victory went to Nicolas Bregante who came out fastest in the final from Ale Calens and Sebastian Recio.
HRC Distribution have introduced their new HRC Racing brand V2 shock shaft pliers. The tool is of an updated design and made from black anodised aluminium. Perfectly sized for a wide range of shock shafts the tool helps to attach and detach shock eyelets without harming the shaft’s delicate surface.

Coming from Bezerk RC are 3mm and 5mm carbon fibre rear wing risers for the Tekno EB410 buggy. The part raises the rear wing up to improve tyre clearance, improve the amount of air that flows over the wing and supports the wing to improve its longevity. The risers are available separately or as complete kit including one 3mm and one 5mm riser.

The fifth round of the Xray Racing Series Poland was held at the Zatoka Sportu venue in Lodz. The organisers laid out a high speed track and the appearance of the Polish television and a couple of photographers made for a professional atmosphere. The 4WD Buggy class was top qualified by Bartosz Zalewski from Jakub Luczak and Sebastian Migal. In the triple A-mains Zalewski made a couple of mistakes which cost him the win as the top 3 drivers here close together in terms of performance. On the other hand did Luczak show robot-style consistency which awarded him the win as Migal rounded out the top 3 results.

Coming from Team C Racing are new aluminium rear wing washers for 1/10th buggies. They are machined from high-quality aluminium and come orange anodised to match the remainder of Team C’s alloy parts. RC Speed Secrets have introduced two new optional parts for the Tekno EB410 buggy in the form of finned titanium turnbuckles and deep socket head titanium diff screws. Starting with the turnbuckles, they are made from top-quality grade 5 titanium and offer a finned design for looks and weight reduction. The 6-piece set is available in RCSS’ special Bada Bling oil-slick or Stealth Black finish. Also new is a 4-piece set of titanium deep socket head differential screws for the EB410. Machined from lightweight grade 5 titanium the screws, used throughout the buggy’s three differentials, will reduce rotational mass and overall weight for improved car performance. Available in Bada Bling oil-slick or Stealth Black finish, they also add visual impact while building, maintaining or tuning the diffs. Three packs of screws are needed to equip a buggy.
