Hudy have introduced their new 235x190x75mm hardcase. The bag is made of highest quality materials and it features the iconic and colorful Hudy graphics while the spacious internals allow to store various equipment such as a charger, tyres heaters, engines or small parts boxes. SWorkz have released first images, as part of a social media video, of their forthcoming new S35-4 1/8th scale nitro off-road buggy. The short video clip actually hides more than it show but we bring you full details on the kit as they surface. The release date is set for April for now.
Round 6 of the Russian Palace Cup was held in the city of Vladimir last weekend in several electric on-road classes. In the premier category of Touring Modified it was Maxim Laverychev with the overall TQ after a clean sweep in the qualifiers and he also took home the overall win from Denis Laverychev in 2nd. Nikita Ignatiev rounded out the top 3 podium result.

Arena RC Racing have released their new brass weight plates for standard and slim-size LiPo battery packs. The standard plate measures 134x45mm and it is available in a 0.6mm variant, weighing in at 33g and also as thicker 0.8mm plate, weighing in at 44g. Also available is a more narrow plate for the new line of slim LiPo batteries that measures 134x35mm and that weighs in at 33g for the 0.6mm plate and 31g for the 0.8mm plate. All are machined from high-quality brass material, they feature laser-engraved Arena RC Racing logos and use thin double-sided tape to attach them to the battery packs.

Coming from T-Works and made for the Team Associated RC8B3.1 buggy are two sets of DLC coated shock shafts. Available as 54.7mm front and 63.8mm rear variants, the shafts offer a slick surface, ensuring exceptionally smooth operation and a long life of both the shafts and the shock seals. Available separately for the front and the rear the sets include mounting hardware for the shock pistons.

Coming from Pro-Line are four new pre-mounted 1/10th short course tyres on the Raid removable hex 2.2”/3.0” wheel. The range will include the Badlands SC, Trencher X SC, Sling Shot SC and Street Fighter SC tyres all of which come mounted on the new Raid removable hex wheel that allows to easily change the offset of the wheel to fit different applications by simply changing out the hex. The wheels include a pair of 12mm Slash 4×4 front/rear and Slash 2WD rear hexes as well as a pair of 12mm Slash 2WD front hexes that fit the most popular trucks. Optional 14mm, 17mm and ProTrac offset 12mm hexes are available separately to fit other applications. The pre-mounted tyres come as pair and including closed cell inserts.
Last weekend Mills Pond R/C Speedway in Fort Lauderdale, FL was the host to the inaugural BuggyMania. This was the first TheDirt race produced by Joey Christensen and the Dirtland Factory on the East coast. The schedule for this 1/8 off-road race was practice on Friday, 3 rounds of qualifying on Saturday, and all the mains on Sunday. For the A mains, the electric classes used an AA format which each main consisting of 8 minutes, while the nitro vehicles all ran a single 30 minute main. The race had a great turnout with 143 entries and there were several classes to compete in such as Nitro Buggy Open and Pro, Nitro Truck Open and Pro, Electric Buggy Open and Prom Electric Truck Open, 40+ Nitro Buggy Open and 40+ Electric Buggy Open. Racing-wise and in the Pro Nitro Buggy A-main it was 3rd place qualifier, Julien Oliveras (Team Associated) with the win from Jackson Brunson (Team Associated) on the runner-up spot, some 24 seconds behind Kyle Phillipps (HB Racing) came in 3rd, already a lap down as top qualifier, Cole Ogden had to settle for 6th overall.

RC Maker have announced the release of their new GeoCarbon Ti-Series on-road car stand for 1/10th and 1/12th scale cars. Constructed from 13 separate individual parts, secured by aluminium gold plated screws, the car stand boasts elegance and ingenuity. The carbon fibre skin is supported by an anodised aluminium and titanium nitride skeleton, producing a lightweight, strong and long lasting car stand. The bottom of the posts are protected by rubber anti-slip pads, to ensure no scratching of the pit board or posts, and no unwanted sliding around. The top is insulated by thin, extremely durable anti-slip rubber pads to keep the carbon skin looking like new. The car stand is CNC machined and assembled in Australia and it is usable for most 1/10th and 1/12th scale on-road cars.
