Team Losi Racing announce their new 22SCT RTC truck kit. RTC is for Ready To Compete and means the short course truck comes factory-build and ready to run including a high-torque 10kg-cm steering servo, a Dynamite Platinum Fwd/Rev sensored brushless speed controller with timing and blinky mode profiles as well as a 17.5T brushless motor and a genuine Spektrum DX2L radio system. The truck builds on TLR’s competition 22SCT and features a 7075-T6 aluminium chassis, aluminium big bore shock absorbers and a fluid-filled gear differential over the conventional ball diff. The truck comes in rear motor configuration but is convertible to a mid-motor machine using optionally available parts. Included in the set is also a pre-finished racing body and soft-compound racing tyres.
MIP introduce the aluminium steering posts for the Losi SCTE 4WD short course truck. They are CNC machined from 7075 aluminium and come turquoise anodized and laser marked for that distinctive high class look and factory feeling. They are a direct replacement for the stock steel posts and are precision machined for best bearing fit and increased bearing life. Fits MIP Pro4mance enhanced Losi SCTE and standard Losi SCTE kits and rolling chassis.
JConcepts have announced that their popular Hazard short course wheel is now available for the Losi SCT-E in black, white and yellow. A powerful new look that combines the winning combination of a 10 spoke design, bead-lock appearance and center lug nut detail with a hint of inspiration from yesteryear. Wheel profile, interior and exterior ribbing and spoke design were all areas of focus while creating the combination of durability, clearance, functionality and appearance.
Tekno RC have released new option parts for the Losi Ten-SCTE short course truck. The M6 driveshafts and lightened outdrives feature the ‘big ball’ design with a larger diameter outdrive ball whose design provides smoother suspension action and prevents the axle from hitting the outdrives on full compression. Included in the set are new outdrives to accept the redesigned driveshafts and also new stub axles to allow for more steering angle. All parts are super lightweight yet rigid thanks to their hardened surface.
TLR introduce new option parts for the Ten-SCTE truck in the form of titanium-nitride front and rear inner and outer hinge pins, shock shafts and bleeder shock caps. The hinge pins and the front and rear shock shafts are titanium-nitride coated for added durability and less friction meaning a better performing suspension. Also new are the aluminium bleeder shock caps. They make building and rebuilding of the shocks easier and come with O-rings and screws.
RPM introduce the rear bumper and mud flaps and number plate kit for Losi’s Ten-SCTE truck. Available separately the redesigned rear bumper adds protection to the bodyshell by being relocated compared to the stock part. Added material around the screw holes make for a more rigid bumper. The mud flaps and number plate kit is an accessory item that adds a scale look to the truck. The mounting holes of the mud flap support arms place the mud flaps at an angled 15 degree, mimicking a few renegade full-sized short course trucks currently in popular racing series. Both the rear bumper as well as the mud flaps and number plate kit are sold separately and come with mounting hardware and instructions.
Avid is pleased to announce their off-road wheel line. The first release will be the Sabertooth SC wheel for the SC10 family of trucks, followed closely by a version for Losi trucks. The 5-spoke wheel is of a lightweight design, incorporate a +3mm offset to get the truck to the maximum legal width and sport an over-sized glue catch bead. The center-point injected wheels offer maximum trueness and sport a swirl pattern design to mate with serrated wheel locking nuts for added security. Available in black colour and as pack of 1 or group of 6 pairs.
Team Losi Racing have introduced their new Hi-Performance SCT body in the wake of this weeks Cactus Classic race in Arizona. The body will fit the Losi XXX-SCT and Ten-SCTE as well as many other makes and sports a special design with air escapes in the hood, fenders and rear section to let the air flow through the body to overcome the parachute effect often associated with SC bodies. It will become available around end of April/beginning of May.
