Swiss company SMP Racing Parts have released these new titanium CV axles for the Losi Ten-SCTE 1/10th 4WD Short Course truck. These super light weight parts not only look great but add extra strength for maximum durability.
Team Losi SCTE drivers now have a new option available to lower the center of gravity thanks to Xtreme Racing’s new Hybrid chassis kit. The kit is a hybrid combination of carbon fiber and aluminum. This is a direct replacement for the stock chassis, but doesn’t use the factory battery/speedo tray. This allows you to mount the speed control and battery lower on the chassis. The chassis is made from 3mm thick carbon with a machined billet aluminum kickup in the front. The kit includes the hybrid chassis, a 2mm top plate to help control chassis flex front to rear and a battery tray kit which allows adjustment of the battery front to rear. The battery tray kit is designed to hold a standard 2 cell hard case LiPo.
MIP have released this line of aftermarket CVDs for the TLR XXX-SCB & XXX-SCT. Made from high quality steel for excellent wear resistance and toughness, they are a direct replacement for the stock drives, and require no modifications to fit them.
Xtreme Racing announces 2 new aftermarket carbon fibre items for the Team Losi SCTE adding to its popular line of carbon fibre off-road products. New is a carbon fibre transponder mount, which allows for easy transponder mounting, and a lightweight carbon fibre diff support mount.
Vision Racing have introduced this motor centering kit for the Losi XXX-SCT and all XXX series chassis that use the black ball differential transmission. The kit shifts the motor to the right 3mm or 6mm to help cancel counter torque effect and improve left to right balance. The set includes two 3mm quasi-ply carbon fiber plates, longer screws and 6mm slipper shaft spacer.
FTW Racing Components launched its line of carbon fibre racing components by introducing three upgrade kits for the Losi’s popular Ten-SCTE 4WD short course platform, a cooling fan kit, a shock tower kit and an Ackerman rack kit. FTW’s cooling fan kit includes a carbon fibre bracket which replaces the center diff brace and suspends a massive 40mm cooling fan over the motor can. The kit can lower motor temps by up to 40 degrees versus the same setup with no fan, producing side effects like increased power, longer run times and enhanced longevity. It includes a JST connector on the fan wire lead and all necessary hardware for installation.
By popular demand JConcepts is bringing the Rulux 12mm hex design to the Losi SCT-E Short Course 4×4. Rulux wheels are 1:1 inspired and offer a look that is unmistakably JConcepts. No detail has been missed as the Rulux wheel incorporates a lug nut and spoke affect that emulates the real thing. Wheel profile, interior and exterior ribbing and spoke design were all areas of focus while creating the combination of durability, clearance, functionality and appearance.
Also new from Losi is the MSC-MXPro brushless controller for 1/10 designed for Short Course trucks and any other application that allows the use of slightly larger controllers. The Fwd/Brk/Rev speedo is usable with an input voltage of 5.5 to 25.4V, has no motor limit when used with 540-size motors and sports an adjustable BEC voltage. The controller comes pre-wired with 13 Gauge wires, EC3 battery and 4mm bullet type motor plugs.
