Team C have released an update to their TC02 2wd buggy and have called it the Evo. The new version follows the current trend by going with a 6mm longer chassis as well as a newly design cab forward body shell. We are told it will be available from this month.

Team Associated has taken all of the refinements from the RC8.2 and have applied them to their electric-power platform, creating the RC8.2e Factory Team Kit. The RC8.2e has already been proven as a winner after TQing and winning the 2011 Sidewinder Nitro Explosion in the capable hands of Ryan Cavalieri. The RC8.2e Factory Team Kit has a long list of new performance parts, making for the best and lightest Associated EP 1:8 scale buggy to date. The RC8.2e starts with the Factory Team +3mm 7075 hard anodized chassis. The new chassis and side-guards shed over half an ounce along with adding 3mm of length to optimize weight distribution and overall handling.

French company Hobbytech have introduced their latest version of their STR8 buggy, the X2 EP. As the name suggests, this electric brushless powered 1/8th scale buggy features correctly balanced and optimized weight distribution and comes pre assembled as a race roller. Some of the features include CNC machined hard coated Spiral cut gears, 16mm big bore oil-filled aluminium threaded shocks, two piece motor mount for fast motor maintenance and new innovative battery tray design 3S or 4S or 6S LiPo capability.
Seen at the Arena Offroad Meeting this weekend in Italy, the recently announced DEX408 is being run in prototype form by Austrian driver Gerd Pfeifer. We are told the final production car uses a similar configuration to that seen in the photos with the exception of the battery pack mount which will see the batteries lying flat instead of on their side as in this version.

Now available the Serpent Cobra-Be follows the same design philosophy as with the gas powered Serpent buggy and shares many of the same components as well. The whole central section with battery-slots, ESC and receiver holder, servo mount and front-mounted motor mount, chassis plate, larger wheel-axle and diff bearings, rear wing / wing mount and the body shell are the key new developments.

The DuraTrax 1/10 scale VW Baja Bug gives drivers a blast from the past. DuraTrax has engineered this model to match the original characteristics of being tough, tireless and a ball to drive. Team C have released pictures of their new brushless truggy, the T8TE. Its twin battery pack design chassis sees a pack mounted to the rear of the chassis and to each side of the centre driveshaft giving excellent balance. Other features include a 3mm T6 7075 chassis, 5mm front & rear shock towers, CVD shaft system and high downforce rear wing and cab forward body. Expect an early November release.

Durango have released this teaser video for their new DEX210 1/10th scale 2wd buggy that will be released soon. It shows a lot of extra information on the new car with a focus on the many setup adjustments that can be made to this car.
