Avid 13mm Ringer Shock Caps

Upgrade parts producer Avid Racing Concepts has released new 13mm Ringer Shock Caps that are designed specifically for use with Avid Ringer Shock Standoffs.  They fit Avid Avant 13mm shocks as well as AE kit and Kashima 13mm shocks, but will not work on the AE kit shock standoffs, Avid Ringer Standoffs only. The signature silver Ringer grooves give your AE ride a clean, aggressive look that stands out without trying too hard.  Avid include 4 silver washers for the bleeder screws if you’re worried about scratching the caps.
Also included are their large seal-proof o-rings from the Avant shocks.  These won’t squish out when tightening and provide a reliable seal so your shocks stay leak-free.

Picco SIX 1:8 Offroad Engine

Italian engine manufacturer Picco has announced the addition of the brand new SIX to its line-up of .21 1:8 Offroad engines.  Based on the experience of the P3 and keeping a clear buggy philosophy it offers strong low-end power, good acceleration, easy tuning, and solid drivability.  The new 6-port sleeve improves drivability, making the engine smoother, more consistent, and easier to control in all conditions.  Power delivery is then more linear, helping the driver stay in control while still keeping enough punch for jumps and corner exits.  A lighter, modern cooling head improves balance and helps maintain stable temperatures over long runs.  The result is a simple, predictable engine that is easy to set up and reliable.  The Picco SIX is built to deliver usable performance, lap after lap.  Positioning in the Picco range.  The SIX is a strong addition to the Picco range, sitting alongside the DIX.  Both engines are designed for different needs on track.  The DIX is the high-end performance model, focused on maximum power and top-level potential.  The SIX focuses more on usability and efficiency.  It keeps the Picco performance DNA, but delivers it in a more controllable, easier-to-use and more consistent way over a full run.  Where the DIX pushes maximum performance, the SIX focuses on accessibility, consistency, and control.  Both engines share the same DNA, but the SIX is aimed at drivers who want confidence and performance they can fully exploit.

T-Works RC8 B4.1 Front Hub Weight System

T-works has added this Front Hub Weight System for the Team Associated RC8 B4.1 1:8 Buggy.  Consisting of aluminium mounting plates and anodised precision balancing brass weights in both 5 and 10 gram options, the plate is mounted to each steering hub which in turn becomes a fixing point for the weights.  These can be switched between four height options to adjust the front weight distribution to the sensitivity required.  T-works advice the use of thread lock when mounting to prevent loosening during operation.

RDRP B84 MonoCore 7075 Aluminum Chassis Set

Revolution Design Racing Products (RDRP) has released this MonoCore Chassis Set for the Team Associated B84 1:10 4WD Buggy.  It is the result of extensive development in collaboration with the RDRP race team who was given the goal to create a chassis that is not only faster, but significantly more durable than standard components.  Compared to the original, the chassis layout has been completely revised. The front and rear sections, where the gearboxes are mounted, have been widened.  This adjustment increases overall strength while also improving the flex characteristics of the car.  The result is more consistent handling and increased grip in critical sections of the track.  Special attention has been given to the critical front kick-up area.  While conventional designs often reach their limits here, RDRP introduces an innovative solution in the form of the included B suspension mount which is made from high-strength steel and is secured using a central screw combined with two precision locating pins.  This construction distributes forces more effectively, eliminates weak points, and ensures exceptional durability even under hard landings.  Another highlight is the integrated carbon ESC plate that allows you to remove or replace the ESC quickly and easily without having to scrape double-sided tape from the chassis.  Manufactured from high-grade 7075-T6 aluminium, the chassis delivers the perfect balance of weight and rigidity.  Visually, it stands out with the signature RDRP finish of deep black anodising combined with elegant silver chamfered edges.

Schumacher CAT PB Front Bearing Driveshaft Conversion

Schumacher has introduced this new Front Bearing Driveshaft Conversion for its CAT PB 1:10 4WD Buggy.  The conversion allows the car to roll more when the transmission is loaded.  Normally a pinned dog bone on a normal output will have more support/bind which keeps the chassis flatter in the corner in turn giving the car more forward drive.  With the ball bearing system you should gain more front end movement from the suspension, allowing the steering and suspension to be less affected by throttle input.  The team have found these give more steering and the front/nose tucks into the corner more resulting in faster pivoting in the corners.  They found the best effects on medium and high grip surfaces.
