Agama A8 Evo FR Cup kit

Available now is the new Agama A8 Evo FR Cup kit, the latest update to the A8 Evo 1/8th buggy platform. The buggy builds on the continued development the company has maintained throughout 2012 to bring the latest parts to the kit. The specification now represents the car that Jerome Sartel used to win two French nationals and also the prestigious French Cup. Included with the kit comes a Ferodo style brake system, new forward style switch system and radio tray, 10/18 internal differential gear sets, new shock caps and diaphragms, an Aerofighter body shell and 8-hole tapered shock pistons. Also included are red dot front and green dot rear springs, 2.3mm front and 2.4mm rear anti-roll bars, black shock towers, two silver left hand screws, optional captured steering balls, front alloy brace and the R2 +2mm chassis.

Blaze Racing B-Max2 mid-motor conversion

Blaze Racing from Poland introduce their mid-motor conversion kit for the Yokomo B-Max2 2WD buggy. Currently in development stages the kit will include a 7075 aluminium chassis, gear box and rear carbon fibre shock tower and is designed to adapt as many B-Max2 kit parts as possible. The use of a standard size servo is possible as are saddle pack and shorty LiPos configurations. The prototype ran at the recent Polish season opener in Michalowice in the hands of Yokomo driver Mateusz Ogonowski and the first kits will be available in time for the EOS race in Poland.

X Factory X-60CF stadium truck announced

X Factory announce the X-60CF carbon fibre conversion kit for the Team Associated T4 and T4.1 stadium truck. Based on the design principles of the SCX-60CF short course truck the kit converts the moulded chassis T4 into an all carbon and aluminium machine with mid-motor gearbox, reduced chassis width and saddle pack battery mount. Expected to weight in at around 1870g prototypes of the truck are shipped to several X Factory team drivers as we type for some final testing with the kits will make it into the shops at around late November.

Tekno EB48 option parts

Tekno RC announce the release of several option parts for the EB48 1/8th electric buggy kit. Available are a revised steering Ackermann plate, lightweight aluminium steering posts, a lightweight hardened steel 44T spur gear, a mechanic brake kit as well as complete front and rear shock kits and lightweight 17mm wheel hexes. Also available are various pivot and anti-roll bar balls as well as spindle and arm bushings made from aluminium to further reduce the weight of strategically parts. Last but not least come carbon fibre steering and brake servo braces to add stability.

Traxxas 1/10th Rally car

Traxxas announce their 1/10th brushless rally racer based on an all-new low centre of gravity 4WD chassis. The chassis assembly is of a modular type making tuning and maintenance easy. Other features include extra long suspension arms, adjustable turnbuckles, shaft drivetrain with two gear differentials and slipper clutch as well as new all-terrain rally wheels, tires and body shell. Included with the ready-to-run kit comes a 3500kv brushless motor, VXL-3s LiPo-compatible controller and TQi radio system.

Exotek 1/10th Associated rear hub set

Exotek Racing introduce this 0 degree rear hub set for 1/10th Team Associated off-road vehicles such as the B4, B4.1, B44, T4, T4.1, and SC10. They feature vertical style ball end mounting positions for variable roll center adjustments. Simply add shims under the ball ends to lower or raise the roll center. Three position ball locations match the Factory Team hubs for easy set up reference. They are CNC-machined from high-quality aluminium and make use of the same heavy duty oversized outer bearings, crush sleeveĀ  and shims as the factory team hubs. The simple design results in 30 percent lighter weight then the Factory Team hubs.
