Kyosho have updated the Inferno ST with further enhancements to create the most powerful version yet in the form of the Inferno ST RR EVO. The RR EVO adds the small diameter flywheel adopted from the 1/8 Buggy World Champion Inferno MP9, strengthened straight cut bevel gears and dial-adjustable big bore shocks for precision setting. The newly designed body combines a low profile form and forward cabin with the MP9’s rear wing to produce sure-footed rear grip and superior maneuverability. Expect a September release.

Serpent have released this new coated aluminium servo-saver for the Cobra buggy and truggy. CNC machined from aerospace quality aluminium with it is super-strong compared to the kit nylon version and is a direct replacement with no modifications necessary.

JQ Products lightened outdrives

JQ Products have now released lightened outdrives for THE Car. There is a version for the centre diff and for the front/rear differentials and the full set saves 14 grams on the drivetrain which is a good amount of rotating mass. We are told that later on there will some pretty trick lightened centre dogbone outdrives released.

Serpent Cobra pro brake set

Serpent have released this pro brake set for the Cobra buggy and truggy. The set features superbly machined ventilated brake-disks with a small front and large rear version. The shaped brake pads come pre-glued to strong metal backing-plates and the set includes steel brake-bolts, for smoother braking overall which is less prone to fading.

Schumacher Cougar SV Dirt Spec conversion

After a host of data gathering and testing by their factory drivers and engineers Schumacher are pleased to bring you this ‘Dirt Spec Conversion’ for the Cougar SV. Although the Cougar SV has been performing well on dirt, winning several major races recently, they thought they could improve its performance. The conversion allows more weight to be moved to the rear of the car by lengthening the chassis and also has the added benefit of using a brass plate under the gear box area also bringing the weight balance back. It will accept all major battery types including saddle, stick and 96mm short stick. All this aids forward traction on low to medium grip surfaces.

S-Workz TB-1 & EFRA 2089 pipes

S-Workz have developed two new pipe system for use with their engines and other 3 port motors. The TB-1 series is designed for high performance and low cost and features a patented exhaust stinger system. Sold with 3 different interchangeable stingers, the original 8mm version is silver, the red version is 7.5mm and the blue is 7mm. S-Workz also have their EFRA 2089 pipe, which is hand made in Japan and gives lots of torque.

LMR ride height gauge & fan protector

Lee Martin got in touch to tell us about the first products to be released under his new LMR brand. First up is the new off road ride height gauge, which is machined from aluminium and features a range of measurements between 15-30mm in 1mm increments, while the side sports a ruler up to 100mm for quick measurements. Next up is the 25mm carbon fibre fan protector which is made from 1mm thick material ad helps protect the fan from debris. Other products include servo tape and a black LMR logo t-shirt.

HongNor aluminium clutch shoes

HongNor have released a new type of aluminium clutch shoes, made from a special long wearing alloy formula that can last for a two-day racing event. Having tested these clutch shoes against others on the market they have found that they are more fuel economical, wear out slower and provide less slippage which reduces heat build-up on the bell and bell bearings. The set includes 2 set of springs of different hardness to suit different track conditions.
