Answer RC lightweight locking wheel nuts

The new lightweight locking wheel nuts from Answer RC are now available. Designed to offer the best of both worlds, security and performance, the security aspect is two fold. Firstly the have a knurled section machined into the back of the nut to allow it to lock onto the wheel and secondly the nuts come with O Rings that seat into the back of the nut to secure the nut against the wheel stub axle and prevent vibration loosening. The nuts come with 8 o-rings giving you a complete spare set. The nuts are machined away on the faces and drilled into to save weight and as with any closed cap wheel nut, knowing that the stub axle will not get mangled up is always a welcome benefit. Available in red and black in both 1.0mm and 1.25mm threads.

JConcepts TLR 22 Punisher body

The Punisher body by JConcepts for the TLR 22 is the meanest, nastiest thing out for 1/10th buggy racing. The slight cab-forward treatment is amongst the most aggressive in class giving the Punisher top notch performance. Blended wing / body design gives additional down-force to the side-pods and windshield which increases driveability, corner speed and jump control. The rear base of the cab area represents the latest offering for 1/10th buggy racing featuring a rear scoop allowing additional tune-ability and cooling for high-performance racing. The Punisher body includes both cut-lines so the user can trim to either rear or mid motor chassis configurations. Werks Racing B6 & B5-Pro engines

Werks Racing have announced the release of their new B5-Pro and B6-Pro engine. They left the basic performance characteristics of the aggressive bottom and strong mid/top of the B5 and the super smooth and linear power band of the B6 in place and just made them better with these new Pro versions. By incorporating ceramic rear bearings and a lightened and epoxy filled crankshaft in the Pro versions, engines will now spool up faster providing increased acceleration and fuel economy. Black anodized crankcases not only look sharp but also provide for increased heat dissipation. A billet CNC machined rear back plate reduces weight and increases rigidity of the case assembly. A new heat insulation sleeve material improves carburetor performance and reduces the likelihood of heat saturation. Finally everything is topped off with a new, large diameter cooling head which not only improves heat dissipation but also lowers the overall CG of the engine by reducing weight by 5% over the standard B5 & B6 heads and an amazing 10% over their 2010 head design.

DE Racing D8 Hara Edition mud guards

DE Racing has just released these new mud guards for the Hot Bodies D8 Hara Edition. They have been altered from the originals to accommodate the use of optional threaded hinge pins in the rear hubs as found on the Hara Edition. Sold as a pair, they come supplied with fasteners.

Associated high-torque slipper pads

Associated have introduced their new high-torque slipper pad design with maximum surface area for more torque capacity. It allows for adjusting drive torque bias on the SC10 4×4 using the included decoupled slipper and is recommended by team drivers for the SC10 4×4 outer slipper pad (rear drive) for more rear drive out of corners and for jumps. Suitable for the SC10 4×4, SC10 FT, B4.1 FT, T4.1 FT, B44.1 FT and all older generations of SC10, B4, T4, B44.

Team Orion have released their all new Vortex MR8 and MR8L 1/8 sensored brushless racing motors. Equipped with sensors for perfect throttle control and a 4 pole rotor for improved performance, they come in two versions, regular length for buggies and XL for truggies and monster trucks. FTW Blade and Vane TLR22 shells

FTW Racing Components have introduced their Blade and Vane bodies for Team Losi Racing’s new 22 1:10 2WD off-road buggy platform. Both Blade and Vane are designed to fit the 22 in both its mid and rear motor configurations and each offers a unique aero package for the 22 racer while sporting the distinctive styling the world expects from FTW. Both bodies come packaged with two wings, window masks, and a decal sheet. Two sets of molded cut-lines facilitate trimming of both bodies to fit the 22 in both motor configurations.
