Losi have introduced their new 810 1/8th scale RTR buggy, a package boasting the most superior power to weight ratio. Featuring a Losi 3.4 nitro engine claims to deliver the most power in its class and interference free Spektrum 2.4GHz DSM technology. Add in a lightweight aluminium chassis and the 4-wheel drive 810 Buggy RTR has it all.
Developed by the world championship winning Tamiya Racing Factory team, Tamiya have announced the arrival of the TRF502X. This 1/10th scale buggy sports a conventional layout and shape which features a shaft driven 4wd system as well as carbon fibre chassis, top decks & damper stays as well as an aluminium motor mount which has been designed with the best possible shape and strength. Large durable front and rear ball differentials enable excellent power transmission and when used in conjunction with a brushless motor and a LiPo battery, the TRF502X with its shaft drive set up and high-speed layout design, is perfect for technical tracks. Motogo-Seiki in Japan have released version 2 of their Kyosho Ultima RB5 mid motor conversion set. The new configuration allows the mounting of LiPo saddle packs and has a lower mounted gearbox compared the previous version. Still in the final stages of production, the set will be only available in this light grey colour and utilizes as many parts from the RBS as possible to keep costs down.
Grid RC have released this rear ball bearing supported 1/8 electric motor mount for their cam style motor mount system. This new mount allows racers that have gearing setups that require over 18T pinions, to still have a ball bearing supported motor shaft and utilize the cam style mesh adjustment. Also, this new mount utilizes all the mounting screws in a 4-hole or 6-hole 1/8 motor. On a Neu/Castle you can now use all four M3 socket screws, while on a Tekin, you can use all six socket cap screws (four M3 and two M4).

Schumacher have announced the the release of this new steel idler gear upgrade for the CAT SX & SX2. Providing longer life than the original plastic CNC gears, with more running between rebuilds, there is now also a larger range of gearing options, especially helpful for stock racing. The slipper now locates on the spur side and has easier access than before. The arrangement is sold as standard with 33T and 22T, slightly different than the kit standard 33T/23T, therefore gear ratios should be adjusted accordingly. 31T/24T, 32T/23T, 34T/21T & 35T/20T are also mountable with the use of industry standard 48dp gears.

Serpent have introduced a new radio-box for the Serpent S811 Cobra, offering a solution for the brake-throttle servo issues, by placing the throttle-brake servo much further forward. Today’s modern generation of digital servos don’t seem durable enough to absorb the hard bumps which occur after landing/jumps and as too many drivers had issues with this, they have come up with this solution. This upgrade set will be offered free of charge to all Serpent Cobra owners and dealers and distributors with Cobra S811 kits in stock, will also receive a free upgrade set for the stock they carry.
