They have been manufactured from high quality steel with a temperature treatment surface that not only looks cool but substantially increases the durability. Ultimate Racing first introduced its off road clutch system 4 years ago, and it was used by Miguel Matias to win his 1/8 off-road European Championship. Now with the introduction of the Compak, the standard clutch has been improved with a smaller diameter of the flywheel of 34 mm and this allows it to be fitted into nearly all current buggy models, Hong Nor, Mugen, Kyosho, HoBao, Crono and Xray.

Carbon fibre parts specialists Xtreme Racing have released a number of optional carbon shock towers for the Associated RC8. Made from 4mm thick carbon, the towers are super strong and are a direct replacement for the standard versions. Stylish and strong they are suitable for the front and rear and are also available in silver carbon finish.
