VP Pro has introduced a new ’22 model rear wing for 1:8 Offroad. The WN-010 wing is the result of taking on feedback from racers to come up with one that enables the car to maintain high cornering speeds while maintaining stability. The injection mold increases durability, allowing the wing to maintain its shape throughout its use. The IFMAR complaint wing is available in White and Black finish.
Having started the week by giving us the iconic Datsun 240Z, now Team Associated have added the all-new A550 Rally Car. The A550 Rally Car is a beautiful true-to-life scale version of the Group B cars from the golden era of rallying during the 1980s. These new ST Racing Concepts Brass Steering Knuckles for the Axial SCX24 helps with the climbing capability of your SCX24 by adding more weight to the lower front end of the vehicle. CNC Machined out of high quality brass material, these steering knuckles also adds more strength and precision to the front suspension of the SCX24. The knuckles also includes bushings for the king-pin screws to prevent wear on the knuckle and steel ball studs for tighter tolerance to the steering linkage.
JConcepts presents the Razor wing to an already successful line of Aero products catering for the latest trend of 1:8 off-road wing performance. For the IFMAR Worlds, JConcepts dug in to the arsenal to produce a combination wing including elements first rising to prominence with polycarbonate wings. The use of a single vertical direction side-dam is incorporated into the base wing feature to provide a little freedom during highspeed turning and 180-degree corners. As with all JConcepts wings, the side-dams are recessed for decal placement and increased rigidness. The leading edge of the dams are angled, providing that exclusive JConcepts look to slide through the air with ease. The base of the wing has multiple heights, the centre section allows the wing to sit lower on the vehicle. On each side of the lowered section, tall centre dividers channel the vehicle and helps maintain stability. Added for continuity, the fangs are built in several locations mimicking the 1/10th carpet | turf off-road wings. A very tall rear dam transitions twice to improve forward grip to feel very comfortable in choppy and loose conditions. Underneath, the wing has a performance core with centre fin and light-weight pocketing to reduce the overall weight. It’s common for racers to add holes to the back of the wing with hand trimming and tuning. The Razor wing has pre-marked locations to allow the opening of the rear dam to allow more wind flow and air to escape during jumping.
Italian tyre producer Hotrace has just added the brand new Vesuvio to their offering of 1:8 Offroad Tyres. Designed and engineered to achieve one goal, it has been developed by team drivers in several track conditions for almost a year. Everything to give ultimate performance for clay, oily, humid or slightly dusty tracks. A whole new tyre design where the letter “V” is its main characteristic offering more traction and more steering. On dusty tracks it removes the dirt from the inside to the outside of the tyre, increasing forward drag and side grip and Hotrace claim it is easier to drive on bumpy tracks. The Vesuvio will be available from the 1st of December.

Offered in the range are direct replacement front & rear shock towers, front & rear shock mounts and front & rear chassis braces, all of which are finished in black anodising for stealthy looks. Also available is a carbon fibre front to rear chassis brace which is a quick and easy weight to reduce the weight of the Kraton.

We have seen the branding for a few months now on David Ronnefalk’s clothing & race cars but it is only today that we have had an official announcement regarding Corsatec. Adrien Bertin, a driver who just had his long standing status as the only driver to win both the 1:10 and 1:8 Nitro Onroad World Championships equalled by Tadahiko Sahashi, issued an official announcement on the new brand that will provide power sources to both electric and nitro racers. A three time nitro World Champion, Bertin is one of the Corsatec co-founders together with Oscar Jansen, who having been a much decorated international racer himself has become a major industry leader in RC electronics and battery technology. Having had the opportunity to chat in dept with Jansen during our time at the 1:10 Nitro Touring Car World Championships in Thailand, they have some exciting new technology under development. With former World Champion David Ronnefalk as their lead development driver, Corsatec are certain to be a force in the market with some other big name drivers expected to be added to the team very shortly to bring more knowledge & expertise to the brand.
