Xray have announced the soon release of their new XT8 1/8th nitro truggy kit. No official details about the 2019 variant are available yet, but as usual they will surface in time for the official release which will take place very soon.

T-Works have expanded their range of optional fastener sets by two kits for the popular SWorkz S35-3 buggy. Available are a 153-piece 64 grade titanium UFO head and a 181-piece gold-colour steel screw set. The titanium fasteners will add visual impact and lower the overall weight compared to the standard steel screws while the gold-coloured set will retain the car’s weight but it adds a luxurious touch and corrosion resistance. T-Works have introduced a set of brass rear hub A and B inserts for the Kyosho Inferno MP10 buggy. Machined from heavy brass material the inserts are a replacement for the standard composite parts and they help to add unsprung weight to the suspension, something that can help to gain traction in low-bite track conditions and on bumpy parts of the track. The hubs come laser-etched for easy identification and the set includes two A and two B inserts.
Coming from Avid are several new carbon fibre wing optionals such as a wing mount brace for the B6.1 buggy and wing buttons. Starting with the wing mount braces for Team Associated’s B6.1 buggy, this Do It Yourself product is a fun mod to create a carbon sandwich on the kit B6.1 wing mounts to keep them from permanently bending after a hard crash. The setup includes everything needed except for the drill.
JConcepts have introduced their new S1 body shell for JQRacing’s TheCar Black Edition nitro and TheE-Car Grey Edition electro buggy kits. First developed for the 2012 IFMAR World Championships, the Silencer has been a mainstay in the JConcepts product line which is available for a number of difference vehicles in the market. The JQRacing buggy has enjoyed a successful run world-wide and JConcepts has now created the iconic Silencer as a drop-fit for the vehicle. For the precise fit, the design has undergone major changes to match the JQ chassis side guards and body mount positioning. The Silencer stance cockpit allows ample room for the air cleaner and fuel tank access, a smoother high-speed windshield transition and increased flow around the engine heat-sink. A deep recess around the engine compartment with dual channeling out the rear provides air escape along with rear-end stability. The Silencer side-pods have a clipped rear-end, narrowing the rear by angling just in front of the rear tires. The extended runner features are placed on the rear-end of the body enhancing the force placed on the rear pods during high-speed acceleration. The main pods are heavily chamfered and a more heat-shrink design over the pipe, fuel tank and electrical / linkage make up the main pods. The end result has the body looking extremely low-profile with heavy JConcepts edginess and appeal. The Silencer is capped off with a cock-pit “shark fin” for more high-speed tracking stability and increased roof stiffness. The body is available in lightweight and ultra lightweight variants and includes window masks and a decal sheet.
Coming from 7075 Special Parts and made for the Kyosho Inferno MP10 is a set of aluminium rear hubs. Machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and coming with a hard-anodised black-colour finish for wear and looks, the hubs offer improved durability compared to the standard parts and they are usable with the kit’s eccentric inserts and bearings.
Coming from RPM and made for the Arrma Typhon 4×4 3S BLX is a set of replacement A-arms. RPM’s versions are more adjustable, more durable and 5g lighter than stock. The designers added a second shock mount to the outside of the original stock shock mount, adding adjustability and improving trackability. The outer shock mount lowers the ride height, increasing stability on all surface types. A lower ride height also means faster corner speeds. Moulded from engineering grade nylons, the arms are a lot more durable than the standard parts with the redesigned shape of the A-arms help improve survivability during severe bashing. The arms come in sets of two and they are a direct fit.

Kyosho are busy adding more Inferno MP10-related option parts to their portfolio. The latest is a hard spring type servo saver assembly. The construction consists of composite bellcranks and it built using a hard retainer spring that ensures a crisper steering reaction in high-bite track conditions. Using the servo saver requires heavy duty steering servos with durable metal gears in order to prevent the servo from becoming damaged. The servo saver set also fits the older MP9 series of kits.
