Muchmore Diff Analyzer

Muchmore have introduced their new Diff Analyzer device, a tool to measure the hardness of gear and ball differentials. The handy tool is powered by any regular USB output and it was designed to measure the hardness of 1/8th, 1/10th and 1/12th scale diffs by simply connecting the device with the diff outdrive or diff hub, locking the main or diff gear and then hitting the analyzer’s power button. The 5 digit high precision display displays the diff hardness, allowing to measure and compare hardnesses to ensure the most accurate diff action. The device measures 86x38x28.5mm, it weighs in at 84.3g and it requires an additional micro 5-pin USB cable for operation.

Reedy Zappers SG2 competition LiHV battery packs

Team Associated have introduced the all-new Reedy Zappers SG2 LiHV batteries. The Zappers SG2 batteries continue to utilise silicon-graphene construction but with an emphasis on reducing internal resistance and increasing cycle life. The batteries feature a 7.6 nominal voltage, meaning that with a suitable charger, the battery can be safely charged to 4.35V/cell. However, even when the typical 8.40V (4.2V/cell) charging limit is enforced, Zappers SG2 still offers a significant advantage thanks to a flatter discharge curve, which results in more voltage deeper into the race. Zappers SG2 batteries are available in low-profile (LP) stick and shorty versions as well as a 1S version designed for 1/12th and other classes that require 1S batteries. A high quality, durable hard case helps prevent damage while embedded socket connectors keep power-robbing resistance to a minimum. Male ESC connectors are included.

Fantom introduce new super low profile LiPo packs

Coming from Fantom Racing are two new super low profile Lithium battery packs. Available as 5400mAh Pro HV LiHV and 5200mAh MaxV-Spec LiPo variant, both packs sport a standard 2-cell footprint and a height of only 19.5mm for a lower centre of gravity and a lower weight. Proprietary Silicon Graphene chemistry stabilises the cells and increases cycle life and efficiency while offering the ultimate combination of voltage, high capacity, and low resistance. The Pro HV pack weighs in at only 234g while the 5200mAh MaxV-Spec packs weighs 240g. Both are housed in protective hardcases and they utilise 5mm bullet-type connectors.

SWorkz S35-3 Worlds rear end conversion kit

SWorkz have introduced the Jörn Neumann Edition Worlds rear end conversion kit for the S35-3 1/8th off-road buggy. The set includes new rear lower arms, rear uprights, wheel hex adapters and several other parts that help to increase the buggy’s rotation in tight and twisty tracks, such as the 2018 IFMAR Worlds track in Perth, Western Australia. Using the parts will free-up the rear end while adding steering and while the set is the go-to solution on smaller, tighter tracks, it is better to stay with the usual setup on normal tracks, according to SWorkz’s Jörn Neumann. The set is a direct fit with everything included for the conversion and it is available now.
