Protoform TLR22 3.0 Predator body & Champion wing

Pro-Line have introduced the Predator bodyshell for the TLR22 3.0 as well as the 6.5″ Champion rear wing. Xray XB4 lightweight bodyshell

Xray XB4 lightweight bodyshell

Coming from Xray and made for the XB4 4WD buggy is a lightweight bodyshell. Moulded from thin Lexan material the body is around 40 percent lighter than the standard kit body and it is recommended for the use on high-bite tracks as it will lower the buggy’s centre of gravity and make for more agile rotation into corners while at the same time a rear fin will help with stability on high-speed sections. The body comes clear and including window masks.

Novak NX4 4-pole sensored brushless motor

Novak NX4 4-pole sensored brushless motor

Novak have introduced the new NX4 540-size 4-pole sensored brushless motor. Made for the use in 1/10th scale on-road and off-road vehicles the 3900kv motor offers a lot of bottom end torque thanks to its 4-pole design, making it ideal for heavy vehicles such as 2WD and 4WD trucks. The heatsink can lowers the operation temperature while ABEC 5 bearings and a Kevlar-wrapped rotor make for maximum performance and reliability. Rubber gaskets and a closed motor design help keeping dust and dirt away from the delicate internals. The motor comes pre-wired with 13AWG wire and gold-plated 4mm bullet-type connectors and it will become available soon.

TLR 8ight-T 4.0 1/8th nitro truggy kit

TLR 8ight-T 4.0 1/8th nitro truggy kit

Team Losi Racing have introduced the latest incarnation of their successful 8ight-T platform, the 8ight-T 4.0. The 1/8th nitro race truggy received a subtle make-over with the vehicle sporting a new suspension geometry and drivetrain refinements. The updated suspension geometry makes it easier for drivers of all experience levels to turn faster lap times with fewer mistakes, particularly during brutal, hour-long mains while the engine has been repositioned to reduce the front centre driveshaft angle so more power makes it to the front wheels. Another change to the suspension are shorter suspension arms that narrow the track width by 5.5mm on each side. This benefits handling on tight sections of the track by making the vehicle more dynamic and allowing it to transition from one direction to the other more quickly while new, machined aluminium shock towers have new camber link and shock location holes that give racers more tuning options for changing track conditions.
