MR33 Drivetrain Checker

MR33, the brand of multiple World Champion Marc Rheinard, has released this Drivetrain Checker which makes it finally possible to measure and check the gear ratio and motor speed of RC model cars powered by 2-pole brushless motors. Simply place the motor sensor on the motor, put the 7mm wrench on the wheel nut of a driven wheel, and step on the gas. Now just read the displayed value on the display, and the job is done in 5 seconds. Simple and uncomplicated, for example, as part of the technical inspection before the run. If only the engine sensor is applied and the throttle is opened, the (maximum) engine speed can be measured – perfect for testing speed limits of modern speed controllers.

Xray RX8 Extra Eccentric Steering Block for Aero Disc

Additional holes allow the mounting of graphite aerodynamic disks. Molded from specially formulated graphite composite material which ensures free suspension movement. Suitable for all traction conditions. Thanks to perfect molding, bearings perfectly fit into the steering blocks without any extra play for maximum stability and steering.

Hong Nor adjustable GT Clutch Set

With plenty of interest in the 1:8 GT class and a World Championship for the category to look forward in 2023, chassis manufacturer Hong Nor has just released the X3GT-61 Adjustable GT Clutch Set. The new clutch set allows the engine power output to be changed by adjusting the tightness of the clutch spring. It has been a busy few days for Hong Nor, who hosted their 2022 Hong Nor Master Championship in Taiwan over the weekend which attracted more than 90 entries. Top European nitro onroad racer and Hong Nor team driver Toni Gruber made the trip over taking the TQ & win with his Ielasi Tuned powered K3 GTS.

VP-Pro improved foam filter packaging

VP-Pro has improved the packaging of their popular foam air filters. Both the round and oval shape filters are now supplied cut in a foam block rather than individually for better protection, storage and to prevent any degradation.

Infinity IF14-2 ‘Team Edition’

Creation Model has officially released details of their new Infinity IF14-2 ‘Team Edition’ 1:10 Electric Touring Car. Used by the team at the ISTC World Championships in Italy, where Jilles Groskamp qualified the car fifth on the grid, the car was developed with input from gathered in testing by its team drivers. While still sharing many spare and optional parts with the IF14-2, the Team Edition has a number of key changes to enhance performance. The rear section has been moved forward by approximately 1.2mm from the original IF14-2. This change in wheelbase and weight balance allows for faster cornering speeds and improved drivability. Newly designed PRS aluminium C-hub (minus 2° caster angle) improves traction and corner speed.

Capricorn 1:10 230mm nitro platform

Capricorn has announced the upcoming release of a nitro 1:10 230mm platform. Based off the popular Capricorn C04 200mm chassis, this car had been designed to run in 230mm GT configuration with the intention of increasing popularity towards the 1:10 scale nitro class. Many of the parts are compatible to the extremely successful C04 car. Some key differences with this car include a rear solid axle, a front one way, rear upper wishbones, the front & rear shock towers and the rear body mount. The car will be available from distributors in the coming weeks once shipping begins.
