Hudy Air Vac 1/10th off-road vacuum pump

The latest addition to Hudy’s line of Air Vac vacuum pumps for shock absorbers and differentials is a dedicated variant for 1/10th off-road vehicles. The ultra-compact electric-powered vacuum pump for 1/10 off-road shock absorbers was developed to quickly and easily bleed unwanted air bubbles from oil-filled shock absorbers and differentials. The tool may also be used as tyre additive penetrator for 1/12th and 1/10th pan cars to help getting the additive into the small pores of the foam tyre. The main platform is fully CNC-machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and includes exchangeable shock/diff stands as well as a transparent plastic cover. The Air Vac’s strong vacuum pump is powered by an optional 12V power supply or a 2S LiPo battery pack and it includes holders for the shock absorbers and differential as well as a 600mm connecting cable with gold-plated banana plugs and a premium hardcase for safe storage and transportation.

T-Works BD9 hard-coated alloy diff outdrive cups

Following the introduction of aluminium spool outdrives, T-Works now also release a set of lightweight differential outdrive cups. The parts are machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and the hard-coated surface treatment ensures great durability while the alloy material lowers rotational masses for quicker spool-up and acceleration. The cups come as pairs and they are a direct fit.

Reedy Wolfpack Shorty LiPo battery packs

Coming from Reedy are their new Shorty-type hardcase LiPo battery packs with pre-soldered T-plug. The unique battery is perfectly suited for trail trucks, crawlers, and a variety of vehicle types that utilise a shorty battery configuration. Wires exit the case through a rubber gasket, which protects the wire’s insulation while helping to prevent moisture from entering the case. High quality cell manufacturing and construction techniques result in reliable operation and maximum cycle life. Reedy’s Wolfpack LiPo batteries come equipped with beefy silicone wires and a reliable, low-resistance T-plug connector. An integrated balance lead with XH connector is included. The battery is available in 2S 3000mAh (95.7×46.8×24.7mm/158g) and 3S 3000mAh (95.7×46.8×24.7mm/217g)specification.

Arrowmax 1/10th quick camber gauge

New from Arrowmax and made for 1/10th vehicles is the black-golden quick camber gauge. Designed for quick and easy camber angle checks the 1-piece tool allows to measure wheel camber angles of 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 degree by simply placing the gauge alongside the wheel. The tool is made from CNC-machined aluminium, it features Arrowmax’s signature honeycomb-design and a black and golden surface treatment. The tool comes laser-engraved for easy identification while milled-out sections make way for the wheel nuts.

Xray NT1’19 1/10th 200mm touring car – Coming soon

Xray have announced the soon release of the 2019 variant of their IFMAR World Championship winning NT1 1/10th 200mm nitro touring car. No official details are available yet but they are expected to surface within the coming days.

Yokomo BD9 titanium outer hinge pins

Yokomo have announced the release of lightweight titanium outer hinge pins for the BD9 touring car. Made to replace the standard steel pins, the lightweight parts will reduce unsprung weight which can result in quicker steering response and faster lap times on high bite surfaces. On lower grip track however they can reduce traction compared to the standard steel parts, meaning they are best used on ETS or CRC black carpet or when running very grippy handout tyres. The pins come as separate 2-piece sets for the front and the rear of the car.

SRC DSE 190mm touring car body shell – Coming soon

Another company to hit the market with a rather extreme 190mm touring car body shell is SRC Racing. Given the teaser images released on social media, the body will follow the latest trend of low-profile high-downforce shells with very pronounced cabins, long trunk lids and sculptured side sections. Full details about the body will become available in time for the release.
