Gizmo Genesis 2019 touring car – Coming soon

Gizmo Racing USA have released first images of the forthcoming Genesis 2019 electric touring car kit. The innovative chassis’ triangular upper camber links and lower carbon fibre sheet arms are still in place with the infamous split dual main gear drivetrain now being gone in favour of a conventional setup. The front and rear steering and rear hubs received an update and are of an all-new design by the look of things as are the lower arms. No official details apart from the images are available yet but we expect full information to surface in time for the release.

Klinik RC 1/10 off-road & on-road cooling systems

Klinik RC have introduced a new cooling system for 540-size brushless motor and the use with most 1/10th scale buggies and touring cars. The design forces air through the motor instead of letting it flow around the can for a significant drop in operation temperatures. The cooler is constructed from durable material and it is available in three different design: a 90 degree variant for front motor buggies such as the Schumacher KC and most touring cars as well as an inline version for 4WD shaft buggies such as the Team Associated B64, Yokomo YZ4, Tekno EB410, Kyosho ZX6 and Xray XB4. Last but not last is the 45 degree variant for most mid motor buggies such as the B6.1, TLR 22 4.0, Yokomo YZ2, Xray XB2 and Schumacher KC/KD. The shrouds are completely customisable for a clean fit and maximum efficiency and they are paintable to match any recommendation. The kits include the 0.030” thermoformed shroud, four grade 5 billet titanium 3x15mm screws as well as a fan guard and – optionally – a Maclan or WTF HV 30mm fan.

Kyosho Mini-Z MR-03Evo chassis sets

Kyosho have announced the soon release of their new Mini-Z MR-03Evo chassis sets. The Evo kits base on the proven MR-03VE Pro chassis, however the biggest news is the use of a separate receiver unit that allows to utilise a multitude of different brand transmitters such as KO Propo’s EX-2 and EX-RR, Futaba’s 7PX and 7XC as well as Kyosho’s own KT-18, EX-6 or KT-531P to name just a few. The receiver unit is easily interchangeable, sitting on top of the chassis. Other new features include an 11.2-times faster CPU unit for increased steering feeling and a 100-times faster responding ESC unit for best possible throttle control. The ESC is now also adjustable using the I.C.S. manager in order to allow the use of brushed motors with the same speed controller. The Evo chassis are available as wide track W-MM set including a 12000kV brushless motor and also as narrow track N-MM2 variant with a 5600kV brushless motor. Both come equipped with ball bearings and the ball diff set II.
