WRC GTX hard compound front & rear arms

Coming from Italian company WRC and made for the GTX 1/8th on-road car are hard compound front and rear arms. Less flexible compared to the standard arms, the reinforced items improve the car’s performance especially in high-grip conditions and in high ambient temperatures. The sets include both the upper and lower arms including needed shims and spacers.

Reds Racing VX 540 13.5T & 21.5T high torque motors

Reds Racing have introduced new high torque variants of their VX 540 13.5T and 21.5T brushless motors. Both offer increased low-RPM torque which can be beneficial especially in high-traction conditions while the top speed remains unchanged compared to the standard motors. The high torque variants, dedicated for blinky touring and formula racing, are also meant to run cooler and with a higher overall performance.

Shepherd Velox V10 VCC chrome clutch bell

Shepherd have announced the release of the VCC aluminium chrome clutchbell for the Velox V10. 70 percent lighter than the standard steel clutch bell, the aluminium part makes for better acceleration in combination with a lower fuel consumption. Included come three ball bearings and the clutch bell is best used with the reverse fly weights and yellow clutch shoes.

Developed in close cooperation with the company’s 1/8th scale racing team the motors offers high-class performance thanks to high-quality materials that greatly improve heat dissipation and overall performance. The motor is available as 1800KV, 2000KV and 2200KV variant for all driving styles and track conditions.

3DRC Awesomatix droop screw bushings

Coming from 3DRC, the new brand of Revolution Design’s Michael Vollmer, come droop screw bushings for the Awesomatix A700 and A800 touring cars. 3D-printed from strong yet flexible material the special design of the bushings, utilising a cone-shaped collar, prevents any movement in the chassis holes, making for reliable droop setting even when the going gets tough. The bushings are a direct fit on the A700 and A800, they are easy to install without the need for glueing and they come in 12-piece sets that are available through 3DRC’s Shapeway store.

Italian company Mon-Tech Racing have introduced their all-new 1/10th scale crawler bodyshell as well as foam strips for touring car bodyshells. Starting with the Mont-Rock crawler body, it is moulded from touch 1.0mm high-quality polycarbonate and it fits most 1/10th scale crawlers. It features a moulded-in roll cage, cut fenders and it comes with a decal sheet.

Tresrey introduce two new LCG LiPo batteries

Coming from Tresrey are two new LCG LiPo battery packs. Available as 5800mAh 80C variant, weighing in at 257g and even lighter 4200mAh 50C pack, weighing in at 230g, both packs are made of high performance LiPo cells that offer a high amount of robustness compared to conventional packs while delivering more power at the same time. Both packs are of standard 139x47mm dimensions with the lower height of 22.6mm, compared to standard 25.1mm packs, making for an overall lower centre of gravity of the car.

Tamiya TG10-Mk.2 FN 1/10th 4WD nitro chassis kit

Coming soon from Tamiya is the TG10-Mk.2 FN 190mm 1/10th 4WD nitro chassis kit. The car builds on a 3mm aluminium chassis with composite upper deck and it was designed to utilise standard 190mm touring car bodyshells thanks to more narrow suspension components compared to the standard TG10. The car’s shaft-driven drivetrain is equipped with front and gear gear differentials and the kit makes use of front and rear CVA shock absorbers as well as a front double wishbone suspension. Included is also the 2.1cc FS-12FN glow engine with tapered sliding carburettor, die-cast cooling head and TM-4 exhaust.
