Matrix Racing Tires have released a first teaser of their forthcoming touring car bodyshell. No detailed information are available yet but judging from the image it appears to be a 190mm electric TC body with the front rubber tyre lurking under the black towel while the overall appearance of the front section also screams “electric”. KM have new optional spur gears for the K8 1/8th scale nitro on-road car available. Coming as 48T and 50T 1st gear and 45T and 47T 2nd gear variants the parts help to fine-tune the gear ratio to suit the track conditions. They are made from a long-life compound material and sport moulded-in size markings for easy identification.

Shepherd introduce a carbon fibre main chassis plate, one of the first option parts especially developed for the Velox E8 1/8 electric on-road kit. Made from premium carbon material the chassis plate is nearly 50 percent lighter than the standard aluminium part and it creates a small raise of the centre of gravity combined with a different flex characteristic which leads to improved site bite. This results in better handling and agility of the car while the acceleration is improved at the same time because of the reduced weight overall weight. A direct replacement for the aluminium chassis the extra stiff carbon chassis is also a true eye catcher and available from now on.

Japanese company Asuka Create introduce a dedicated storage box for on-road shock springs. Measuring 213x118x47mm the semitransparent box features a carbon fibre insert with transparent bolts that take up to 24 1/8th or 1/10th on-road springs of up to 35mm length. The design makes for secure storage and transportation without having to worry the springs are mixing up.

New from Lee Martin’s LMR brand comes a car protection bag for 1/10th off-road buggies. The bag is made from black fabric, it sports the proud LMR logo and it not only protects the buggy from dirt and grime when stored away on the track but it also keeps the trunk of your road car clean as the bag is also ideal to transport dirt soaked vehicles in.

Kyosho’s line of Plazma LM 1/12th scale racers sees the addition of two new kits in the form of the Carbon Edition Porsche 962C Coupe 1989 Joest-Racing and the Carbon Edition Toyota GT-One TS-020 1998. Both offer upgraded chassis compared to the standard kits with the main chassis and rear lower pod plate as well as the chassis brace being made from high-quality carbon fibre instead of black fibre glass sheets. The included motor mount is compatible with 540-size motors and the kits also include an alloy adapter plate to run smaller 380-class brushless motors. Part of the rolling chassis packages are also 9 ball races, foam tyres on scale rims and last but not least replica bodyshells including comprehensive decal sheets and moulded details.

The chemical will stick to any surface without running, it provides constant lubrication, and lasts a long time, making it ideal for crown and pinion gears, greasing outdrives that go into the diff cup and crown gear and it is perfect for CVD joints. New from Orcan comes the Push Box, a specially designed part to improve engine performance and mileage. Used in prototype form by Alexander Hagberg to win the 2014 IFMAR 200mm Worlds the Push Box is made to become looped in the pressure line between the exhaust and the fuel tank and it makes for a more reliable and constant engine performance especially right after refuelling when running with high fuel levels as it prevents the engine from running too rich.
