We have received word that Kyosho America team driver, and USA Worlds team #8, Cody King has changed fuel suppliers, moving from Sidewinder to Byron Fuel. Cody had the following to say about the deal:

I will be running the new Byron GEN2 Pro Driver blend fuel this year at the Nationals and the Worlds. I am really happy to be running what I think is the most advanced fuel blend on the market, and also for a company with a rich tradition in the RC industry. I had nothing but good experiences with Sidewinder, so please allow me to thank Morgan Fuel for the last two years of flawless support.

Batlle takes Spanish 1/8th TT Rd1

The first round of the Spanish 1/8th scale gas Nationals was run last weekend in dry weather at the Cañete track in Cordoba. Qualifying saw the top spot for the semi finals go to GS racer Richi Gomez with current European Champion Robert Battle claiming the top spot for the other semi final. It was Mugen racer Daniel Vega however that claimed the quickest time in the semi to take the pole position for the main final with Borja Hernandez starting from the 2nd position. Almost immediately Vega had problems and dropped to the back of the field allowing Antonio Jesus Gomez to take the lead, which he held for the first 8 laps until a quick moving Batlle took over at the front. The Hobao driver then proceeded to swap this position with Hernandez for the rest of the race, but was ahead when it counted and took the win just ahead of Borja in 2nd, with Antonio Jesus Gomez holding on to the 3rd spot, 2 laps behind the leading pair.
