The Silverstone Winter Series concluded with wins for Tom Yardy in 2WD, Paul Crompton in 4WD, and Richard Miller in the Truck class. Tom Yardy also secured the 2WD series win from team mates Charlie Ware in 2nd and Jack Neal in 3rd while Greg Williams wrapped up the 4WD series win ahead of Matt Dodd and Felix de Hamel.
The 1st annual Desert Classic race was held this past weekend at Hobby Action RC Raceway in Chandler, Arizona. TLR’s Dakotah Phend would take the TQ in the 2WD Modified Buggy class and he also brought home the win after coming out fastest in A1 and A2, leaving Yokomo’s Ryan Maifield and Xray’s Ty Tessmann behind in second and third respectively. In the 2WD Modified SC class it was again Dakotah who excelled, bringing home the TQ and win from Ryan Maifield in second and Spencer Rivkin third.

The opening round of the French 1/10th off-road national championship was held this past weekend in Louvres. Xray’s Jean-Pierrick Sartel would come out on top in the 2WD class, taking the day’s win from Renaud Savoya (TLR) in second and Armand Launtheaume (Xray) in third. In the 4WD category Mathieu Briere would lead an Xray 1-2-3 with Jean-Pierrick in second and Valentin Peuziat third.
The French MBCP club held a Fun Race this past weekend. With the track being both technical and slippery things were pretty challenging for the drivers and ultimately Yannick Aigoin (Xray/Ultimate) would prevail, taking the day’s win in the Nitro Buggy class from Edouard Hugon (Agama/Alpha) while young Eliot Marcon (Mugen/Ultimate) would round out the top 3 result.

The final round of the Stotfold Winter Series was held this past weekend, attracting over 50 drivers. In 2WD Kit Jones would bring home the day’s win and he would also take the overall title from Ian Buck second and Alex Carter third. In 4WD David Orbell would bring home the day’s win with Joe Howson taking the overall from John Myall second and Simon Overall third.
This past weekend Dialed In Raceway of Victorville, California held round one of the Grass Roots series. In the Expert Nitro Buggy class HB Racing’s David Ronnefalk would take the TQ after the qualifiers and he would also come out successful in the 20-minute A-main, leaving JQRacing’s Joseph Quagraine a lap behind in second. HB Racing driver Tyler Brown would round out the podium result in third another lap down.

Modelix Racing have announced the signing of Spanish on-road frontrunner, Jonnhy Pastor to their team. Although being widely known for his on-road skills, Jonnhy will make a step into off-road racing this season using Procircuit tyres, Ultimate engines and accessories as well as Nitrolux fuel.

The first annual Thornhill Cup was recently held at Thornhill Racing Circuit in Hutto, Texas. In the Nitro Buggy A-main Jake Dellinger (Team Associated) would bring home the win from Noah Dickerson (Xray) in second and Tyler Hooks (TLR) third. Rocco Margiota (Xray) and Edwin Hartman (Tekno) would round out the top 5 result.
