Malin Karlsen wins OMK Fall Classic series Rd6

Round six of the OMK 2WD Fall Classic series was held at the OMK raceway in cold but dry weather conditions. Malin Karlsen would lay down one of her usual performances to grab the overall TQ, putting in the only 15-lap runs of the evening. The opening A-main started with no problem but a lap counting problems brought things to a halt, meaning A1 had to be re-run. Early in the race Malin made a mistake by clipping a corner which send her dead last. After being marshalled she started to recover and soon found herself in third place from which she was able to put pressure on the second place driver that would eventually make a mistake to promote Malin into second place. After putting in a couple of fast laps Malin was right behind the leader at the start of the final lap and once the leader ran too wide in a corner Malin made maximum use of the invitation and she took the lead and with it the win in the opening A-main. A2 then was a pretty easy affair for the young lady. At the sound of the tone she jumped into the lead and never looked back to take the leg win, race win and with it the overall win in the championship with two rounds to go.

6th Annual JConcepts Fall Brawl – Announcement

The 6th Annual JConcepts Fall Brawl will be held on October 5th at the world-famous Silver Dollar R/C Raceway in Chico, California. The track has been redesigned to support both 1/10-scale and 1/8-scale racing; eBuggy will be offered as an alternate class at the Fall Brawl. There will be race classes for everyone including Open and Pro divisions based on skill level and also the popular “First Family of RC” title will be awarded. This year’s format will be the same as in years’ past with the finishes of kids 14 and under with their father’s finishing position will be combined to determine the overall position. Sylvain Gallo-Selva takes 2WD French Cup title

The 2016 1/10th Electric Off-road French Cup was held this past weekend in Reims, Champagne. Held at the new indoor facility of the Reims Enduro Model Car Club the event attracted some of the country’s quickest drivers and in the 2WD Buggy class it was TQ holder Sylvain Gallo-Selva who came out in front after the A-mains to take the 2016 2WD French Cup title.

Fotinos successful at Greek EP Off-road nationals Rd3

Round three of the Greek electric off-road nationals was held at the Zorri RC track in Athens. In the 4WD class Delbederis took the overall TQ thanks to round TQs in Q2 and Q3 but the finals were a different affair as the TQ holder struggled with traction in the opening main but he would come out fastest in A2. A3 then saw Delbederis being dead last after an incident with another car and he was only able to recover to third. Overall Fotinos (Yokomo) would take the win from Delbederis (Xray) in second and Papanikolaou (Kyosho) in third. With two races left, and thanks to his second place at round three, Delbederis now leads the overall championship.
