In 1/8 E-Buggy TLR’s Ryan Maifield steered his buggy to the overall TQ in the class thanks to three round TQ’s while in 1/8 E-Truggy Ryan had to fend off attacks from TLR team mate Dakotah Phend who took Q2 but overall Ryan would take a second TQ that weekend thanks to also coming out fastest in Q4. In 1/10 4×4 Modified Short Course Ryan cemented his will to make it a triple by again taking the overall TQ and the pole position for the triple A-mains. With bad weather in the forecast for Sunday, ROAR made the decision to run the opening A-mains and some of the lower mains on Saturday which turned out to be a wise choice as indeed rain kicked in on Sunday, washing away any chances for more track time.
