Maxi Vogl wins German Open Indoor Masters

MaxiVoglFriedrichshafen

One week ago the German Open Indoor Masters took place at the Faszination Modellbau Fair in Friedrichshafen. The race was won by young talent Maxi Vogl who was ranked on 6th position after the qualification. In the main final Vogl was able to work his way up to second position behind reigning World Champion Robert Pietsch after several minutes. Later on Pietsch had a crash and damaged his rear rim and he also lost some time to get back in the pits and letting Vogl tale over the lead. Pietsch tried to catch up after a quick repair in the pits, but time was rung out and Vogl crossed the finishing line in first position followed by Robert Pietsch and Armin Baier.
