Chad Bradley wins unlimited 4wd at JBRL Rd4

At the recent JBRL electric series Rd4 at Racers Haven in Bakersfield, CA the unlimited 4wd short course class saw a full field of Ofna trucks. During qualifying Chad Bradley set the fastest times in both rounds driving the Jammin SCRT-10, Kevin Smith 2nd with the SCRT-10 as well and DJ drove the Hyper 10 SC rounding out the top 3 after qualifying. In the 6-minute main, Chad pulled to an early lead after the first few laps, Kevin Smith and DJ battled for the second position for the majority of the race, which allowed Chad to cruise to an uncontested win with Kevin taking the runner spot ahead of DJ.

These grade 3 balls are the highest spec ceramic ball commercially available, this translates into a rounder, smoother and more accurate ball. The advantages are many, firstly you will get a longer life from both the diff balls and plates meaning less strip downs. They are lighter than traditional Tungsten Carbide balls giving lower rotating mass and reduced spool up time and you will always get balls that are matched in size so no diffs that do not run true due to inaccurate sized balls. Available in 12 packs of 1/16″, 5/64″, 2.5mm, 3/32″ and 1/8″ versions.

RPM Adjustable Height Slash 4×4 body mounts

RPM’s new adjustable height body mounts for the Traxxas Slash 4×4 are designed to give you optional body height positions where stock left you none. This version of the Slash 4×4 body mount starts off lower than stock by 1/8” (or approx. 3.2mm) and they supply a pair of molded spacers to allow you the option of a stock height body position using the thin spacer under the body mount. If monster suspension travel is needed or you just like the higher stance and larger wheel well openings a taller body mount provides, you can increase the height by 1/8” using the thicker of the two spacers. In extreme cases, both spacers may be used for a full 1/4”* (6.35mm) of extra body height. Engineered with new, larger ribs into the mounts to provide extra rigidity and support for the body while keeping weight to a minimum.
