LiPo Factory 3S 5000mAh TRX battery pack

Trinity have introduced the new LiPo Factory 11.1V 3S 5000mAh LiPo battery pack for Traxxas vehicles. Built using high-power 55C/110C cells for exceptional performance and durability the soft case pack measures 142x45x25mm and it weighs in at 330g. It comes pre-wired with a Traxxas-compatible plug, making it usable in Traxxas kits such as the TRX-4 Series of crawlers, the Slash VXL 2WD and 4WD; as well as the UDR Desert Racer and the E-Revo VXL.

Avid TLR 22 titanium king pin screws

Coming from Avid and made for the TLR 22 series of kits is a titanium king pin screw set. It allows to remove some weight from the kit steel king pin screws and add some nice looks to the vehicle. The screws are machined from billet 6Al-4V titanium, they are 50 percent lighter than the stock parts and for the 22 5.0/4.0/3.0, 22-4 2.0/1.0, 22T 4.0/3.0, and 22SCT 3.0.

2019 SARDA National Championship Rd2 – Report

The TRAP Raceway was host to the second round of the SARDA National 1/10th Off-road Championship in Pretoria, South Africa last weekend. TRAP being a tight track with not many opportunities to pass makes qualifying in a good position vital, this also led to some of the closest and most exciting racing seen for a while with everyone hunting the top step of the podium. Charles Hollander would top qualify in the 2WD Mod and 4WD Mod Buggy classes while Wikus Coetzer swept 2WD Stock, Stadium Trucks and 2WD SCT. In the 4WD Stock class it was Michael Gibson who would led the field. In the 2WD Mod A-main it then also was Charles Hollander who also brought home the win with Rikus Jansen Van Vuuren and Wikus Coetzer coming in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Spring Indoor National Series 9 – Report

The Spring Indoor National Series 9 was held this past weekend at Tacoma R/C Raceway in Tacoma, Washington. Over the years, the JConcepts Indoor National Series has showcased some of the best racing by a very special group of drivers ranging from World Champions, National Champions, Reedy Champions, and many more. These high caliber pro drivers definitely know how to put on a killer show for not just the drivers, but for the spectators of all ages. Making the trip this year to the Pacific NW was world-class talent including Ryan Maifield, Ryan Cavalieri, Dustin Evans, Cole Tollard, Max Flurer, Aydin Horne, as well as featuring local speedsters like Tanner Day and Harley Yoshii. This year’s level of talent was deep and made for a spectacular race weekend that did not disappoint.

Tekin introduce RS Gen3 1/10th speed controllers

Tekin have announced the release of their new RS Gen3 and RS Gen3 Spec 1/10th scale brushless speed controllers. The RS Gen3, with an 8.5T motor limit, brings a suite of enhanced features including better power handling and improved tuning features that give racers a host of adjustments. Mugen adjustable clamping type alloy servo horn

Mugen have introduced their new adjustable clamping type aluminium servo horn. Machined from high-quality 7075 alloy material and sporting the company’s distinctive blue-grey anodising, the servo arm is of an adjustable design with the steering link pivot ball mounting locations ranging from 18mm to 20mm. This allows to adjust overall steering throw but also the steering speed. The clamping design makes for additional safety during long mains while also ensures a rock-solid mounting on the servo output gear. The servo arm is available as Sanwa and KO Propo compatible 23T and as Futaba compatible 25T variant.
