Coming from Team Orion are new flat sensor wires in 75mm to 200mm length. The flat design allows the wire to be neatly installed in nearly every car, buggy or truck, with the high-quality connectors ensuring a reliable motor/ESC connection. Team Associated B6.1 alloy diff height inserts

Team Associated have introduced the new aluminium differential height inserts for the B6.1 series of off-road kits. They are a direct replacement for the standard composite items and are a lot more durable while offering exceptional precision. Orientation numbers are etched onto the inserts, making them easy to read. The 4-piece set is compatible with RC10B6.1, RC10B6.1D, RC10B6.1 FL, RC10T6.1, and RC10SC6.1 kits.

2018 New South Wales State Titles – Report

The 2018 RCRA New South Wales State titles saw drivers from the local club, other New South Wales clubs as well as a strong group of Queensland drivers come to race at Glen Innes, a rural town on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales. A new track layout was just finished and would provide a challenge for all drivers. With the grippe track, bumps and some tricky jumps, 2WD Mod was always going to be about buggy placement and not pushing too hard in the wrong places. Current Australian 2WD Mod champ Christopher Sturdy took the TQ from Mitchell Pratt in 2nd and Jason Ryan in 3rd. A1 and A2 was all Christopher Sturdy taking the title over Mitchell Pratt in 2nd with Troy Milton coming from 5th on the grid to take 3rd.

JConcepts have introduced their Satellite tyre rubber bands in a new orange colour option. Specifically developed for tyre mounting, the rubber bands are produced in a high-elasticity material capable of stretching to a full assortment of different sized tyres. Finely detailed array of handles are designed to ergonomically conform to your fingers so the user can deftly adjust the rubber band to the sidewall of each tyre to apply the pressure where it is needed. The Satellite rubber bands are usable for 1/10th, SCT and 1/8th buggy tyres and a set includes four bands per package.

4th Annual JConcepts Turf Nationals – Report

The 4th Annual JConcepts Turf Nationals race was held at RC Madness in Enfield, Connecticut. There is no doubt that astroturf and carpet tracks are getting more popular throughout the United States. Once considered strange and not ‘real’ off-road racing, is now a thought of the past and considered truly a viable option to an alternative racing surface. As a racer, there are lovely benefits to racing on carpet mainly due to the simplicity of mounting your tires and getting on the track. There is no sanding or grinding of tyres, no heaving saucing or “burning the tyres in” for added grip. For track owners, the maintenance and track changes are by far easier to manage and RC Madness is considered one of the best “artificial” tracks in the US. is home of one of the best races on alternative surfaces in the US.

Michal Orlowski doubles at oOple Invernational

The 2018 oOple Invernational was held at Robin Hood Raceway with some of the country’s fastest 1/10th off-road drivers as well as guests from abroad in attendance. In the 2WD Mod Buggy class it was Poland’s Michal Orlowski who set the pace, taking the TQ and the wins in the triple A-main events. Ben Jemison came in 2nd from Greg Williams 3rd. Hames Helliwell and Eugene Galley completed the top 5 result.
