Jason Nugroho wins Jakarta Regional Buggy Champs Rd4

The 4th round of the Jakarta Regional Buggy Championship was held at the Graha Raya track, Serpong, West Java last weekend. A total of 40 drivers attended this event and the race format originally saw three rounds of 10-minutes qualifying with the best two to count but due to rain during the third and final qualifying round the race director decided to count all fully run rounds. This meant Adrian Wicaksono (Mugen/Reds Racing) took the TQ honours when two rounds here completed but in the final he unfortunately got into traffic and only finished in 3rd while up front Jason Nugroho (Xray/Novarossi) took the first place followed by Rama Tribudiman (Team Associated/O.S.) in 2nd.

Elliott Boots wins BRCA Nitro Buggy Nationals Rd4

Swansea And District Model Car Club held round 4 of the BRCA Rally Cross Nationals this past weekend. Kyosho’s Elliott Boots took the overall TQ on Saturday courtesy of three round TQs. Despite being late for his semi-final Elliott was able to win his semi with nine seconds over the leader and the main final then was again highlighted by some issues for Elliott with the fuel tank causing inconsistent fuel pressure at times. Nevertheless the Kyosho driver was able to bring home the win, scoring valuable points for the championship. Infinity’s Lee Martin came in 2nd from TLR’s Michael Lewis in 3rd. Going into the final round next month Lee Martin now leads the championship by just one point from Elliott Boots.
