Atomic BZ 2017 Evo 1/28th 4WD chassis kit

Atomic have released first information on the BZ 2017 Evo 1/28th scale 4WD competition chassis kit. The belt-driven micro touring car received a number of upgrades and improvements such as adjustable front and rear camber angles and link positions, adjustable caster, rear roll centre, anti-squat and pro-squat adjustments and the servo mount moved 2mm towards the centre line while also being of a more rigid design that is less prone to moving after a crash. Also new for the 2017 version are double flange diff pulleys to avoid belt jumps, the chassis is 1mm narrower for improved ground clearance during cornering and the top deck is of a more rigid design. Last but not least come the option of running longer rear shocks for improved traction and a tailor-made screw for the plastic bulkhead ensures that the screw holes won’t break any more. Atomic AMZ BZ 98mm wheelbase alloy chassis

Atomic have introduced a 98mm wheelbase aluminium main chassis plate for the AMZ BZ micro RC car. Replacing the standard carbon fibre chassis with a less flexible aluminium part will result in improved car control especially in very high-bite conditions. The chassis is machined from high-quality 7075 aluminium, it features extensive machining for optimised flex characteristics and a lower weight and it comes with a black finish and silver chamfered edges for looks and better ground clearance during hard cornering.

RC-Aurora BZ carbon chassis, topdecks & body mount

RC-Aurora have introduced three new optional parts for the AMZ BZ mini on-road car in the form carbon fibre main chassis, top decks and body mounts. Starting with the main chassis plates, they are available in 1.2mm and 1.5mm thickness to provide a tuning option in order to adapt the car to different traction conditions. The chassis are available separately and they incorporate mounting positions for RC-Aurora’s carbon body mount set.

RC-Aurora Mini-Z rim and motor pinion indicator gauge

RC-Aurora have introduced a multi-functional gauge to determine the rim offset and motor pinion size of Mini-Z cars. Made from carbon fibre the tool helps to measure the wheel offset and it also does away with the need to tooth count pinion gears as four different grids allow to measure the pinion gear size of popular mini-size cars such as the ones from Kyosho and Atomic/AMZ. Printed graphics help to easily read the different settings and at 32x130mm the gauge is also easy to carry and store.

Atomic RC AMZ 4WD Mini-Z-sized kit

Atomic RC have released a first rendering of their AMZ 4WD Mini-Z-sized car kit. The car builds on a carbon fibre main chassis with an upper deck made from the same material. The double wishbone suspension allows for droop, toe and camber adjustment and the shocks come grease-filled to achieve the maximum in traction and side bite. Included with the kit, that is designed for the use with 7.4V LiPo battery packs, comes a 2.4GHz FHSS radio system and a micro brushless speed controller made by Hobbywing. The car is set for a release this Winter.

Atomic RC VM-II 1/10th 4wd Mini-TC

Following the success of the original VM-II 1/10th 4wd Mini-TC, Atomic RC has released a highly anticipated updated version of the high performance 4WD Mini Touring Car. The most notable features of the new chassis are redesigned upper deck with flex adjustment and .5mm thickness reduction and the new main chassis is now 11mm narrower for faster response. Most of the M-Chassis bodies will now fit the chassis due to redesigned shock towers and the new car features carbon reinforced plastic material for all the major suspension components. Due to the popularity of Gear Diff, one Spec-R gear differential is now included in the kit.

Atomic T2’008 LiPo protection box

Atomic T2'008 LiPo protection box

New from Atomic RC for the Xray T2’008, is this LiPo battery protection box. Essentially a walled plastic holder for your LiPo battery, it comes with mounts that when fitted to the chassis allow the box to pivot in and out of position, enabling the user to more easily remove the battery. The set is also supplied with lead weights to help you balance up your car and bring it up to minimum weight.

Atomic RC Kysoho Spada 09 tires

More new tires from Atomic RC, this time some foam versions for use on the Kyosho 1/12th scale Spada 09. Pre mounted on white rims, the front tires are available in middle or soft hardnesses, while the rear tires are also available in the same compounds.
