Capricorn Q5-TE .21 competition buggy engine

From Italian company Capricorn is the Q5-TE, their new .21 competition racing engine for the off-road class. Featuring updated and hand tuned internals, the combustion chamber has been optimised for a better heatsink and thermal efficency. The crankshaft has been hand modified and polished, while the piston and liner has been revised for maximum performance. Featuring rear ceramic bearings and a customized crankcase, this 2010 version comes with a new aluminium carburetor with plastic insert.

Capricorn RC 1/8th Hard Light tires

New from Capricorn RC are these 1/8th scale versions of their Hard Light tire series. Featuring Italian foam, the new wheels are much stiffer than regular wheels and are also lighter, which is thanks to a completely new plastic material which they have mixed with carbon. Available now for both front and rear.

Capricorn RC LAB-E01-BC .12 engine

Used by their team drivers at last week’s World Championships in Houston, Texas Capricorn RC have announced that their new LAB-E01-BC .12 engine, that we wrote about back in June, is available from next week. It sports a lightened, balanced and tuned crankshaft as well as a hand tuned piston and liner set. Other updates include the use of a ceramic main bearing and of course updated cooling head graphics.

Capricorn NT1/LAB-C01 axles & fuel bottle

Capricorn RC have released a number of new items, firstly these front and rear axles for the NT1 and LAB-C01. Sporting a new wheel axle that has been lightened and machined where it meets the bearings for smoother operation, it allows the LAB-C01 to be mounted with a wheel nut in place of a screw. Sold as a complete set or as individual items. Capricorn have also released their own ultra soft 500cc fuel bottle.

Adrian Bernsten signs deal with Capricorn RC

Italian company Capricorn RC have been in contact to tell us about another young signing to their team. The Norwegian Xray driver Adrian Bernsten will run the company’s engines, tires and fuel throughout the 2010 season. The European electric junior champion and multiple National champion will compete at this year’s World and European Championships in the USA and Sweden respectively.

Capricorn WC 2010 733 clutch & Fuel filter

Capricorn have released their new World Champion Edition 2010 Centax clutch for the Serpent 733. Its light weight and size ensure maximum acceleration and increased top speed. The shoe plate, shoe and bell has been revised to further improve the clutch performances. Supplied with two red clutch shoes, 2 bell bearing kit and 2 thrust bearings and only works with the original Serpent pinions. Capricorn have also released details on their all new fuel filter, which features a transparent body and cleanable filter.

Capricorn RC NT1 wheel hubs

New for the Xray NT1, Capricorn RC have released these new wheel hubs. Made from anodised aluminium, they feature a -0.75 offset and have been lightened through the use of machined holes on the on the outer edge. Sold in a complete set of 4.

Capricorn RC LAB 21 BC

Italian company Capricorn RC have released a new .21 competition on road engine, the LAB 21 BC. Available from next week, the engine features a 14mm crankshaft which has been hard tuned, together with a 9 port liner.
