Infinity IF15 1/10 200mm nitro on-road kit

Following two years of on-track development, Infinity has finalised their first 1/10th 200mm nitro on-road kit – the IF15. Extensively tested by the 1/8th Onroad World Champion’s team drivers, the new kit has already shown winning form. In the 2018 Euro Nitro Series, Jilles Groskamp took the car to victory at the opening round and secured the TQ at round 2. The concept for the design of the IF15 was to have the lowest possible centre of gravity and, like its big brother the IF18, create a car that facilitates easy maintenance. As a result of its low centre of gravity, the IF15 provides exceptional steering feeling. The easy access bulkheads make exchanging of differentials and belts easy and reduces the time needed to find the best set-up. This is a feature of the car that is particularly beneficial when time is limited. The kit comes supplied with suspension bushes with various roll centre positions, and three kinds of front and four kinds of rear anti-roll bars meaning the IF15 can easily be tuned to any track.

Such high quality oil also provides more stable traction during race conditions. Available in convenient 60cc bottles, the range of nine different viscosities covers popular options between 4,000 and 20,000.

Infinity IF14 rear belt roller set

Infinity has released a rear belt roller set for their IF14 electric touring car. The set prevents the rear belt skipping teeth which can occur when a heavy load is applied and the belt is deflected. Tooth jumping is prevented by suppressing the belt so that it does not separate from the pulley. This results in providing stability of both traction and braking effectiveness together with an extended belt life. The new belt roller cannot be used in combination with the T095 rear balance weight.

Following on from the recent release of their new IF18 kit, Infinity is now offering a conversion kit allowing owners of their previous 1/8 GP on-road kit to benefit from evolutions made to the World Championship winning platform. Infinity IF14 aluminium spool outdrive

Infinity has released a new hard anodised aluminium spool outdrive set for their IF14 electric touring car. Finished with an aluminium enamel coating, this creates excellent wear-resistant. Compared to the kit standard steel version, the new 7075-T6 material spool comes in 6.8g lighter per unit. This weight saving helps achieve better throttle response. The spool works in conjunction with the T124 C-blade protector for the drive shafts.

Arena 30mm & 40mm cooling fan ducts

Coming soon from Arena are cooling fan ducts for 30mm and 40mm motor fan units. The carbon fibre reinforced ducts will be a direct fit for the Infinity IF14 and Xray T4 cars but it is understood that they will be usable with a range of other chassis also. Using the ducts will greatly improve the fan’s cooling performance as the air is guided towards the motor can, doing away with the need to use scrap-built polycarbonate ducts or the like.

UREE touring car pitch damper unit

Japanese company UREE have introduced their new centre pitch damper for some of the most popular electric touring cars. The damper was originally designed for the latest generation of 2WD off-road buggies but now also found its way into modern day touring cars where it acts as a brace between the servo mount and motor mount – a task that is normally carried out by a fixed linkage, metal or carbon fibre brace. The damper however will make for a smoother transition between coasting and acceleration, resulting in improved car control especially when running modified motors. The damper unit is available now in three different length for the Yokomo BD8 2018, Xray T4 and Infinity IF14/Kyosho TF7.7.
