Hong Nor X3GT & X3GTS alloy gearbox conversion kit

Hong Nor have introduced their new gearbox conversion set for the X3GT and X3GTS kits. The machined aluminium open-style front and rear gearboxes will increase the suspension support, make for improved stability during high-speed cornering and better maintenance due to faster differential access undoing just four screws per gearbox. Included in the kit are CNC-machined bulkheads, diff holders, suspension mounts as well as carbon fibre shock towers. The set is rounded out by an array of mounting hardware.

T-Works 1/8th off-road 30mm lightweight brake disks

Coming from T-Works and made for many popular 1/8th off-road kits are lightweight 30mm brake disks. The precision-cut rotors are of a vented design for less fading even during long and gruelling mains and they are available in a variant for the Agama A319 and also as a universal offering for vehicles such as the Mugen MBX, Serpent Cobra, Xray XB8 and HongNor X3.

Hong Nor X3GTS 30th Anniversary Edition nitro GT kit

Coming from Hong Nor is the X3GTS 30th Anniversary Edition 1/8th scale nitro GT kit. Issued to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Hong Nor, the competition on-road car features newly designed front and rear aluminium gearbox bulkheads for easier access to to the front and rear differentials while included optionals such as the #X3S-36 aluminium centre diff brace, the #X3GT-16 3.5mm C/F diff set, the #X3GT-27 handle set as well as the #436 flywheel and clutch shoe set improve easy of maintenance, looks and performance. The car comes as chassis only kit and it will hit stores soon.

T-Works roll out new X3 GTS optionals

T-Works have announced the release of new optional parts for the Hong Nor X3 GTS kit. First up is a titanium turnbuckle set made of high-quality 64 grade titanium. Included are six camber and steering link turnbuckles as well as a steering servo link and two wrenches that allow for easy building and adjustment. Using the titanium links over the standard parts will lower the overall wight while adding rigidity and visual impact. Also new is a precision ball bearing set that includes ball races with rubber and metal-shields for high durability while still ensuring low natural drivetrain drag. Last but not least comes a 158-piece 64 grade UFO head titanium screw kit and a 170-piece gold-colour steel screw set. The titanium fasteners allow to scrub some weight and add rigidity while the steel screw set mainly adds visual impact and corrosion resistance.

T-Works X3GT & IGT8 alloy shock standoffs

Coming from T-Works and made for the Hong Nor X3GT and IGT8 1/8th GT kits is a set of aluminium shock standoffs. The parts are machined from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and they come hard-coated for wear and looks. The set includes four pieces and it fits both the X3GT and the IGT8 cars.

T-Works X3GTS/IGT8 titanium suspension pins

Coming from T-Works and made for the Hong Nor X3GTS and IGT8 1/8th scale GT kits is a titanium suspension pin set. The 4x66mm shafts are made of high-quality 64 grade titanium for improved durability and corrosion resistance while also being lighter than the standard parts. The set includes four suspension shafts and it is available now.

T-Works Sabre X3/Evo lightweight brake discs

Coming from T-Works and made for the Hong Nor Sabre X3 and Evo are lightweight fibre brake discs. The parts are machined from black fibre glass and are of a vented design that both lowers the disc’s weight but also helps with cooling for less brake fading even in long mains. The plates come as pair and are a direct fit.

VP-Pro X3E E-Buggy body shell

VP-Pro have introduced a new body shell for the Hong Nor X3E 1/8th electric buggy. Of a low-profile medium downforce design the body sports a distinctive cab forward placement and it is made from clear high-quality polycarbonate.
