JConcepts B6 3-gear Honeycomb laydown motor plate

Coming from JConcepts is a honeycomb design laydown motor plate for the Team Associated B6 2WD buggy. Being of a lightweight yet rigid design the motor plates does away with bending issues often associated with flat surface plates as the 3D honeycomb design makes for improved rigidity in multiple directions. The honeycomb features also add a 3D look as they remain natural aluminium while the rest is available in blue or black anodised colours. Slight chamfering on the 3mm thickness material allows the rather beefy direct-replacement plate to look quite slim and trim.

JConcepts 5.5mm/7.0mm combo thumb wrench

JConcepts have introduced their new 5.5mm/7.0mm combo thumb wrench. Offering major flexibility packed into a compact one-piece design, the light-weight, machined aluminium wrench is available in blue and black anodised colours and features a dual-end concept for two of the most commonly used locknut sizes in RC. The main hub of the unit has been knurled for finger tip control and features several heavy cuts for increased grip for those pesky, hard to turn locknuts. The sizing is indicated by laser etching on each end and topped off with JC logos for authenticity.

JConcepts Fin Reamer bodyshell reamer

Coming from JConcepts is the Fin Reamer for polycarbonate bodyshells and wings. The custom 0 to 14mm reamer design combines a sharp, durable tip with an aluminium handle which is available in blue and black colours. The handle features an ergonomic shape with finned cuts and tear-drop recessed areas to reduce weight and add an important lustre to the design. The reamer tip cover is a moulded plastic component built just for the design and application. The stacked piping on the cover packs a look but also serves as a grip for the on and off process. The handle also has an end cap which includes the JC logo.

JConcepts B6-series Finnisher aluminium wing buttons

JConcepts have introduced the B6-series Finnisher aluminium wing buttons. The machined aluminium design with durable outer rim and stylish inner hex design offers a bit more security over traditional plastic wing buttons with the design incorporating through-holes and notched hexes which make it incredibly lightweight but strong in all the important areas. The attachment area has an already built-in countersunk feature which allows for the cleanest assembly possible. The wing buttons are available in blue and black anodising.

JConcepts YZ-2 S2 buggy bodyshell

JConcepts’ popular S2 bodyshell is now also available for the Yokomo YZ-2 2WD buggy. Featuring a low centre of gravity design the S2 assists fast corning on high-bite surfaces while offering plenty of downforce thanks to a progressive cab design that also makes for best possible steering while maintaining exceptional overall balance. The upper side-pods feature distinct vents used to help relieve hot air build-up inside the body for those high-powered runs or hot days at the track. Carved and detailed side-pods edge the body giving the highly aero unit a stylish look with a tight fit and finish. Cut-lines are included on the body to accommodate 3 and 4 gear lay-down transmission layouts as well as the “dirt” 3 gear stand-up configuration, giving all out versatility. The body is available in a regular and lightweight variant including the Aero rear wing.

JConcepts S1 EB48.3 buggy bodyshell

Coming from JConcepts and made for the Tekno EB48.3 buggy is the new Silencer bodyshell. The body has new elements created for fast and rough terrain driving; the cab is placed in a forward position with a medium rake angle for an aggressive driving feel without sacrificing out-right balance. The forward pods have the necessary height for high capacity batteries with an added scoop, built for cooling access from a forward position. The rear of the pods are built up and include a rear winglet which drops some force on the rear tires. The mid-length cab incorporates a one-piece side window layout and includes a long shark fin off the rear of the cab for side-traction and straight-line tracking ability. At the rear of the cab rest several areas which can be trimmed for air-flow and hot air escape. Just behind the motor area, another escape pocket has been added for increased passage for flow while everything exits the rear in the scoop-like fashion. The sides of the body have a unique step treatment which adds some strength and also a fitted change of direction forming around the chassis side-guards. The Silencer is formed in clear polycarbonate material with protective film and each package includes window mask and detailed decal sheet.

JConcepts XB2 pre-cut chassis protective sheet

The latest vehicle to receive JConcepts’ chassis protective sheet treatment is Xray’s XB2 buggy. The chassis wrap comes made from tough material and it sports flashy JC graphics while protecting the chassis bottom from becoming damaged or overly scratched when running on very abrasive surfaces. Coming in sets of two the stickers are pre-cut for a perfect fit and included is also a replacement rear skid decal.

JConcepts Shorty LiPo storage box

JConcepts have introduced their Shorty LiPo storage box for up to three shorty-type LiPo battery packs. The box has a small footprint which makes it ideal for short trips with minimal amounts of space. The inside of the box is roomy enough for three shorty batteries and cushioned with high-impact foam that takes away stress during storage and transpiration. The foam insert has built-in areas which allow finger tip access top and bottom for that necessary grabby feel. The custom built, black colour storage box has JConcepts.net logos for authenticity and built-in plastic latches for easy open and close operation. Designed for short-term storage and to keep things nice and tidy, the box is not safe for charging or long-term storing Lithium packs.
