Kyosho release Evolva & MP777 Optionals

Kyosho release Evolva & MP777 Optionals

Kyosho France have a number of new optionals for the Evolva and Inferno MP777 displayed on their website that have just been made available. First up for the Evolva are these pretty cool looking setup wheels, which are pretty unique in that its rare to see them for 1/8th circuit cars. They are sold in a set of 4, feature a rubber o-ring around the circumference and are anodised grey. Next up, again for the Evolva, are some lightweight wide off-set front wheel axles that come supplied with spacing shims, we presume to enable you to set the amount of offset required. For the MP777 come some anodised wheels nuts in brown, red and blue and also available are aluminium steering blocks, that feature nylon inserts for using smaller bearings.

Kyosho X312T released mid July

Kyosho X312T released mid July

The first fruits of the Team Orion and Kyosho tie-up are soon to be made available when the Kyosho X312T .12 motor goes on sale in Europe on the 10th of July. This engine isn’t simply a rebadged version of the Team Orion CRF Wasp but instead features a revised piston which has been coated with Nikasil, a nickel silicon carbide coating used to reduce friction in moving aluminum alloys, while the carburettor features a different barrel and modified main needle which all adds up to an engine that is easy to tune, very stable and has lots of torque. Also released at the same time is the Kyosho V-One RRR Evo and X312T combo pack which will make a great package for those racers considering racing in the Kyosho World Cup, as we have heard a rumour that the use of the X312T is to be made mandatory for this event.

Available as two seperate designs, for each of the 2 cars, the mechanism and benefits are the same and that is, firstly, that it allows your engine to be removed easily and quickly from your car. The 2nd and main benefit is when you go to put your engine back, you dont need to worry about gear mesh and alignment issues due to the systems 2 piece design combined with the use of aligning pins mean that you only ever have to align your motor in your car once.
