Warm Up Kyosho Masters 2008

Kyosho Germany wish to heartly invite you to attend the Warm up Race for the 2nd Kyosho Masters 2008 in Bischofsheim, Frankfurt, which runs from the 18th – 20th July. Many drivers will remember this very special atmosphere on the first Kyosho Masters last year, even the very special weather conditions could not change the perfect mood of the attendees. This year the sun will be back – we already arranged this for you. We will have thrilling racing action on all days and on Saturday evening there will be a nice dinner at the race track after which there will be a fun race with the brand new MFR Racing Truck. The starting fee will be 20€ and includes the special ‘Starter Package’ and if you want to start in a second class, the starting fee will be additional 5€.

Kyosho Inferno GT2 Corvette & Audi DTM

The new GT2 is the latest in the popular series of big 1/8 scale nitro-powered cars based on the 7-time IFMAR World Champion Inferno line from Kyosho. Much of the same technology that earned an unprecedented seven World Championships is incorporated into the design of this new on-road Inferno and the GT2 builds on the popular features of the original GT and adds a number of new features that increase value, durability, user friendliness and speed, not to mention enhancing its unmatched scale appearance.

Kyosho Inferno GT & DBX/DST Options

Kyosho have released a number of new optional parts for their Inferno GT and DBX/DST chassis’. First up is this set of universal swing shafts for the DBX and DST, which allow for smoother operation, improved efficiency and less maintenance in this area of the transmission. For all 3 cars there are some new larger diameter, hard anodized shock bodies which aim to increase durability and which have been threaded to make quick and easy ride height adjustments. Finally for use with the new big bore shock absorbers are a range of 3 different hardness shock springs, to aid you in fine tuning your car to different conditions.

Cody King wins Truggy at JBRL Rd3

Kyosho team driver Cody King proved to be unstoppable during round three of the popular Southern California JBRL Nitro Series, taking TQ and the win in the main event with his Sirio-powered Kyosho ST-RR. Held in Hemet, CA, King nearly lapped the field during the main, which was his first outing with the new KO Propo 2.4 GHz system – he went wire to wire with solid performance from the new radio gear. His performance puts King up in the top end of the points and in contention for the overall series win.

Pro-Line Vortex for Kyosho Lazer ZX-5

Get ready to cool those high voltage brushed or brushless systems in your Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 with the new Vortex body by Pro-Line. Designed to give your car the latest in off-road styling and function, the Vortex was born from today’s top electric racer IFMAR Off-Road World Champion, Ryan Cavalieri. “We need a body that will better cool the brushless systems we are using and looks like it is ready to compete,” says Ryan Cavalieri. So, Ryan, along with Pro-Line’s body moulding experts, set out to create something that improved the overall performance of the car’s electronics and the car’s performance on the track. With 4 unique cooling features (1 on each side of the body, 1 directly underneath the front wind shield, and 1 on top of the cab), the Vortex received it’s name.

Kyosho Evolva M3 Alu Suspension Mounts

Kyosho have released optional aluminium front suspension mounts for the Evolva M3 1/8 on-road racer, which strengthen the front suspension assembly and improve durability. The machined aluminium mounts are packaged with woven graphite 0.5mm and 1.0mm shims that are used to adjust front suspension geometry, plus all the hardware that’s needed to install the mounts.

Kyosho EM Challenge 2008

With the European Football Championships starting this week hosted by Switzerland & Austria, our friends at Kyosho Germany are running a fun competition to win some great prizes. The first placed price is an Inferno GT Ferrari F430GT, with 2nd place getting a Fazer Audi A4 DTM and 3rd getting a Minium Citabria airplane. Places 4 to 10 will receive a Kyosho t-shirt from their team collection. This competition is in the German language only.
