LRP have announced the S10 Twister a rear-wheel drive 2WD electric buggy. Designed from scratch it features an encapsulated gearbox, slipper clutch, drive train with ball bearings and fully adjustable race suspension.The RTR package includes special high speed 540 size motor, digital LRP speed control, high precision LRP A2-STX Sport III transmitter, charger, longlife LRP rechargeable battery and a high-performance LRP steering servo.

LRP release the 30x30mm motor fan with aluminium mounting clamp. The compact unit fits nearly all brushed and brushless 540-size motors and helps to lowered the operation temperature and thus enhances the overall performance and motor life. The fan is powered via an unused output channel on the vehicle’s receiver.

LRP S10 Blast SC Short Course truck

LRP introduce the S10 Blast SC 1/10 scale 4WD electric short course truck. Based on the S10 Blast platform the SC offers a tough 4WD drivetrain, updated chassis and suspension components for both the gravel pit and the race track. Available as RTR or Non-RTR variant the chassis features two gear differentials, CVD front drive shafts, front and rear anti-roll bars, long oil-filled big bore shock absorbers and the RTR variant also a high-torque 540-size electric brushed motor, LRP speed control, LRP A2-STX Sport II transmitter with steering servo and a LRP NiMH battery pack. The truck is available with blue/silver and black/red body shell design.

LRP S8 BXR evo options

LRP have released some new parts for their S8 BXR evo 1/8th scale buggy. First up are these rear suspension arm mounts which are now available in 2.7° and 3.5° versions. Machined from aluminium, the increased caster makes the car more stable during acceleration and is especially good on bumpy and rough tracks. Also new is a range of tapered shock pistons which feature an angular bore in place of the regular straight hole. Available in 8×1.0mm, 8×1.1mm, 6×1.2mm, 8×1.2mm, 6×1.3mm and 8×1.3mm, the new configuration changes the damping characteristics of your car completely giving a much smoother action.

LRP ZZ.12C engine @ 200mm Euros

During this weeks 1/10 scale 200mm nitro on-road European Championships in Ettlingen/Germany, LRP team drivers Ronald Völker and Teemu Leino are using a prototype of the upcoming LRP ZZ.12C Ceramic engine. So far the engines, using a Z.12R Spec4 cooling head, are doing very well with both Teemo (5th) and Ronald (7th) making the Top 10 after qualifying. The third driver to use the Ceramic prototype is 2010 “B” vice European Champion Dirk Stammler (21st). The engine has been designed completely from scratch and is constructed using high-end components and latest production technologies to create a pro-level powermill for the highest competition races. No word so far on a release date.

LRP ZZ.21C Ceramic competition engine

The new LRP ZZ.21C Ceramic has been developed from scratch, profiting from the experience and input from their factory drivers, the result of which is a true rpm monster. Inside there are exclusively selected materials of the highest quality which together with an extremely precise manufacturing process results in a smooth power delivery. The new balanced crankshaft with carbon coating and silicone insert ensures minimum wear and low resistance. The newly designed engine head is extremely flat, flow optimized and lightweight meaning the centre of gravity is significantly lower compared to other competition engines. The end result is a motor with lots of power and super low fuel consumption.
