LRP Shark-18 Carbon Chassis conversion

LRP have announced the release of this upgrade kit for their Shark-18 line, which helps improves the performance of the car. The carbon plate chassis conversion kit converts all Shark-18 models from the standard plastic tub chassis to a high-performance platform of carbon plate chassis and top deck. Featuring cut-out battery positions and a significant lower weight than normal plastic tub chassis, this carbon chassis increases precision handling and traction on all surfaces. The kit is supplied with the carbon chassis, upper deck and battery mount, as well as blue anodized motor mounts and battery posts and all the required hardware.

LRP VTEC Suicide Competition tires

LRP electronic have released the latest tire in their 1/8 competition buggy tire line, the peculiarly named Suicide. Specially developed by the LRP R&D team, this new thread design features small and fines pins, perfect for hard packed high traction tracks or qualifying runs. The VTEC 1/8 tire provides high grip and low wear based on a special compound of high-quality rubber. In addition, the all new tire features pre-cut venting holes resulting in high performance through superior air circulation. Released in soft and medium compounds.

LRP ZR.30 X Competition Engine

LRP have released their latest truggy engine, the new ZR.30 X Truggy is the replacement for the successful Z.28 R Spec. 3 Truggy motor. An uncompromising competition engine specially tuned for the demands of a .30 engine, the massive XTEC T6 crankcase provides the engine with a high structural rigidity, with extra thick ribs, particularly between the front and rear ball bearings. The carburetor is also completely revised, and is now flow optimized resulting in maximum performance and simple tuning.

LRP SXX Competition prototype ESC

Seen in the pits at the Worlds in Thailand is the new prototype ESC from LRP, called the SXX. Much smaller than the previously available Sphere TC spec ESC, the new controller uses a metal plate set into a plastic frame, to which a heatsink fan combo can be applied but currently isn’t necessary for the 4 cell 1:12th scale class. The new ESC, which is also here in Nosram colours, features a revolutionary copper core cooling technology to keep the internals at a low temperature, while the controller software now has 10 power profiles to select from for finer adjustment of power delivery. Also new is what the company calls X.Brake which provides stronger braking, and it too has 10 adjustment settings which can be set by the 2 new externally mounted buttons.

Exclusive – LRP Vector X12 BL Motor

Red RC have been given the Exclusive on the new motor that LRP has developed, which is a completely new, revolutionary brushless motor. The Vector X12 brushless motor sets new benchmarks when it comes to electric motor performance and will be making its International competition debut at the Worlds in Thailand. Using their extensive experience, the R&D team has been hard at work developing a completely new brushless base platform, and together with the LRP Factory team have spent many hours on the track to create the best product possible.

Steven Weiss Joins LRP Factory Team

LRP Electronic have announced that former European TQ, and Xray team driver, Steven Weiss has joined the LRP factory team. The former Team Orion driver brings many years of experience in competition racing and will further strengthen the LRP international team of drivers. Racing mostly 1/10th EP Touring he will be one to look out for at the upcoming world championship in Thailand next week.

LRP have announced the release of this completely new engine, the ZR.30 Spec.2 Pullstart. Especially designed for Truggies and Monster trucks, this new engine features a completely new and unique design. Stronger, more robust and more powerful due to the new XTEC T6 crankcase with extra thick ribs, it features an over sized head for ruggedness and reliability, a new carburetor, 5+1 ports sleeve, special reinforced conrod for .30 size and a flow optimized crank shaft, together with Turbo Scoop for maximum power and easy tuning.
