MIP SC10/T4 Pucks Shiny drive system

MIP SC10/T4 Pucks Shiny drive system

MIP’s Pucks Shiny drive system is now available for the SC10 & T4 trucks. Made from steel, retaining the same overall weight that you are used to with your steel OEM drivetrain, these give you the added benefit of MIP Pucks that are fully serviceable. No longer will diff outdrives and CV bones wear simultaneously, with the puck system all that is needed to change are the Pucks when necessary meaning your drivetrain stays fresher longer. This added benefit equates to less money, less time off the track for rebuilds, and keeps your vehicle more competitive.

MIP 22T Pucks Shiny drive system

MIP 22T Pucks Shiny drive system

The latest kit to receive MIP’s Pucks Shiny drive system is Team Losi Racing’s 22T stadium truck. The Pucks drive system, that does away with conventional drive pins over a plastic “cushion” construction as part of the driveshafts, includes a set of “shiny” steel C-CVD bones, steel wheel axles, steel outdrives, new diff rings, thrust race, diff screw any other small parts to convert the trucks standard drivetrain. The Pucks system promises simpler maintenance and a smoother running drivetrain compared to the kit’s standard parts with the Shiny set being usable with stock and modified motors alike.

MIP B5 Pucks bi-metal R-CVD drive system

MIP B5 Pucks bi-metal R-CVD drive system

Based on their own Pucks drive systems MIP now introduce the new bi-metal R-CVD driveshaft set for the Team Associated B5 and B5M. This all-new design features a keyed joint made out of hardened alloy steel that connects to 7075 hard anodised aluminium bones. This feature allows to lighten up the drivetrain without sacrificing the durability that steel components offer. The R-CVD design also helps to keep costs low while 7075 hard anodised aluminium outdrives further reduce the rotational mass of the drivetrain. The set is designed to work with the B5 kit’s wheel axles and differential parts.

MIP TLR 22 2.0 Stock & Modified Pucks drive system

MIP TLR 22 2.0 Stock & Modified Pucks drive system

MIP introduce two new Pucks drive systems for the TLR 22 2.0 buggy. First up is the lightweight 17.5 drive system specially designed for Stock racing as it makes use of lightweight C-CVD aluminium driveshafts and Lite Drive aluminium outdrives, scrubbing around 50 percent of overall rotation mass. The Shiny drive system for Modified racing relies on the more robust “Shiny” steel C-CVD shafts and steel outdrives. Both kits make use of MIP’s Pucks system that offers a greatly increased contact patch between the driveshaft’s drive pin and the differential outdrives for a smoother operating drivetrain while offering easier maintenance at the same time. Both the Stock and Modified kit include a pair of driveshafts with wheel axles, differential outdrives, diff rings and balls, the Pucks assembly as well as several small parts.

MIP B5/B5M alloy top shaft & Bypass team tuned kit

MIP B5/B5M alloy top shaft & Bypass team tuned kit

MIP have new option parts for Team Associated’s B5 and B5M buggies available in the form of a lightweight top shaft and a Bypass team tuned shock piston kit. Starting with the top shaft, the 1-piece part is made from high quality 7075 aluminium and weights in at only 4.5g, making it around 67 percent lighter than the stock steel shaft, resulting in quick spool-up, acceleration and improved braking performance. The shaft features precision-cut gears and a hard-anodised surface and it is ideal for Stock and Modified racing alike.
