Exotek roll out new 22T & 22-4 option parts

Coming soon from Exotek are new option parts for the TLR 22T and 22-4 series of trucks and buggies. First up is a 4mm front shock tower for all 22T series stadium trucks. Machined from lightweight USA-made carbon fibre the shock stay weighs in at only 12g, scrubbing nearly 3g of weight. The tower is a heavy duty construction with a factory look and a more robust material than the stock plastic for consistent handling on high grip tracks. The part is designed with reinforced profiles along the mounting holes for added strength and it includes hardware to mount the stock body posts. The tower fits all 22T series trucks but not the 22SCT.

MIP B6.1D Pucks 17.5 drive system

MIP’s popular Puck 17.5 drive system is now also available for Team Associated’s new B6.1D buggy. The lightweight, aluminium-based system is a replacement for the standard steel items and includes a 2-piece aluminium outdrive cup and aluminium outdrive hub assembly, two Bi-metal bones, and the replaceable plastic orange wear Pucks™ that take the place of the inferior steel pins. This combination greatly increases the longevity of the drivetrain and most importantly decreases the drivetrain’s overall rotating mass by about 50 percent. The decrease in weight directly results in quicker acceleration, deceleration, and lower motor temps, making it ideal for 17.5T stock racing classes.

MIP EB410 shock cartridge spacer kit

MIP have introduced a shock cartridge spacer kit for the Tekno RC EB410 1/10th 4WD buggy. The stock shock cartridge setup uses two X-ring seals that ride against themselves. As they aren’t designed to be stacked together they tend to roll during shock compression and they will act like a pump or vacuum, and pull air into the shock body which will make shock bleeding after every run necessary. This is where MIP’s shock cartridge spacer kit steps in. It includes eight spacers which will eliminate the need to constantly bleed the shocks. The spacers keep the same friction on the shaft to allow it to move freely but keeps the X-ring seals orientated to their proper shape during compression and rebound; thus resulting in a more consistent shock feel throughout the run. Included are four cartridge guides and four cartridge spacers but no X-ring seals.

MIP announce EB410 Pro4mance chassis bundle kit

Coming soon from MIP and made for the Tekno RC EB410 1/10th 4WD buggy is their new Pro4mance chassis bundle kit. The next generation 13.5 performance bundle chassis kit rebalances the car to give a stable and smooth drive. The new chassis re-configures the battery to the back of the chassis and lays the servo down. The end result is a more balanced weight between the front of the chassis and back resulting in a smoother drive and allows the car to rotate through corners better, brake faster, and accelerate quicker than standard EB410’s. The kit also features new carbon spine braces, new servo mounts and front and rear centre bones which come standard with MIP 1.5 Pucks. The kit is available for pre-order now and should hit stores soon.
