Tekno EB410 13.5 Performance Bundle package

Coming from MIP and made for the Tekno EB410 4WD buggy is the Pucks 13.5 Performance Bundle package. Designed for the growing 13.5T stock class, the set is an aluminium based drivetrain system that features an all-new redesigned 2-piece aluminium bi-metal bone and alloy steel yoke, two front 78mm bones and two rear 69mm bones as well as the name-giving 1.5 Pucks. The latter increase the longevity of the drive system by reducing the wear and tear between the pins of the bone and slots of the cups. In addition the set decreases the drivetrain’s overall rotating mass by 25 percent. The decrease in weight directly results in quicker acceleration, deceleration, and lower motor temps.

MIP TLR 22 4.0 Pucks 17.5 Drive System

MIP have introduced the Pucks 17.5 Drive System for the TLR 22 4.0 buggy. It features an aluminium based drivetrain system which includes a 2-piece aluminium outdrive cup and aluminium outdrive hub, two Bi-metal bones, and the replaceable plastic orange wear Pucks that take the place of the inferior steel pins. This combination greatly increases the longevity of the drive train and most importantly decreases the drivetrain’s overall rotating mass by 50 percent. The decrease in weight directly results in quicker acceleration, deceleration, and lower motor temperatures. The set includes all needed parts including the ball differential but except the diff gear and wheel axles. The kit is available for pre-order now and will be produced if 125 pre-orders are received by MIP until November 20th.

MIP TRX-4 HD Driveline kit & wide track kit

MIP have introduced two new option parts for the Traxxas TRX-4 Defender truck in the form of the HD Driveline and the wide track kit. Starting with the driveshafts, the new Scale-ish MIP HD Driveline features scale looks and a light-weight construction, compared to MIP’S X-Duty Drives, as they are nearly 30 percent lighter and 25 percent slimmer. The shafts feature spline technology, CVD makeup, and additionally has an impressive 35 degree of articulation. It also features phased aligned joints that key the male and female splines for smooth power transfer under load with no binding or vibration. All components are heat treated from the highest quality American grade alloy steels. The set includes the front and rear centre driveshafts and it comes including mounting hardware.

MIP TLR 22 4.0 Bi-Metal Super Diff 13.5 drive kit

MIP’s recently introduced Bi-Metal Super Diff kit for the TLR 22 4.0 is now also available as 13.5 drive kit including bi-metal driveshaft bones. Offering a 35 percent lower rotational mass than the standard diff and dog bones, the kit comes in handy especially for Super Stock and Stock racing as the lowered weight makes for increased acceleration and less motor fatigue while offering pin drive binding characteristics. Included in the kit are bi-metal outdrives and bones, heat treated outdrives, carbide diff ball, ground diff rings, an aluminium T-nut and a captured thrust race assembly. Not included are wheel axles and the diff gear.

MIP No.1.5 & No.1 Pucks rebuild kit

MIP No.1.5 Pucks are a direct update for those users that find No.1 Pucks screws are coming in contact with the aluminium outdrives over time. By switching over to the taller No.1.5 Pucks it will effectively eliminate the chance of the capturing screw head coming in contact with the outdrive face during wear or articulation, since the screw head is now up and out of the way. And being that the No.1.5 Pucks is taller there is now more surface area for the system to spread load, which will improve overall wear. No.1 Pucks and pins will always be usable in a bind but MIP recommend the use of No.1.5 Pucks. They are also a direct replacement for the front and rear diff assembly of the recently introduced MIP B64 13.5 performance bundle package. Also available as a rebuild kit are the No.1 Pucks that are used for the B64 centre diff assembly.
